  • What can you not stop eating lately? Lately, Braum's Chocolate Malt Ball ice cream. If you like Whoppers candy, this stuff is incredible. Today, however, I seem to have consumed my weight in peanut m&m's. Embarrassed

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows) Not to be too gross/mushy, but I'd say we're at a 10. Things have been going really well.

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) I'm definitely NOT the cook in our relationship. I think H said something about making pork enchiladas with the meat he slow cooked over the weekend. If he left it up to me, we'd probably have frosted mini wheats.

Favorite baby names? Oh man. I am obsessed with this lately! A few current favorites for a girl: Evie, Liv, Aurora, Annie, Ruby; for a boy: Elliot, Liam, Cy, Finn, Eamon...

How do you make your hamburgers? Another cooking question... I pretty much let H handle all of the grilling. However, I did come across a recipe for "stuffed" burgers that everyone loves. You make one patty (a little thinner than normal), put a dollop of cream cheese/chopped jalapeno mixture on top, and sandwich it with another patty. Yum!
  • What can you not stop eating lately? Crispy Tacos from Taco Mayo. I have no idea why, but I've been craving them all the time lately (I had 2 for lunch today.) I can't look at the meat though. If I look at it, it grosses me out and I wouldn't be able to finish it haha. Also, Chocolate Chip shakes from Braums.

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows) Ummmm....probably an 8.

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) DH has softball games tonight, so we're having pizza since it's quick (either frozen or homemade, haven't decided yet.)

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? Nope! Everything has been pretty drama-free lately.

Favorite baby names? Girl: Kinsey, Josie, Elsie, Gracie (I apparently like names that end in an -ee sound lol) Boy: Brody, Eli, Evan, Levi

How do you make your hamburgers? I usually leave burgers up to DH. I think he just uses some of that Daddy Hinkles (sp?) stuff.

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows)  We're at a 9.  The trip to Jamaica really brought us closer and helped us realize that we shouldn't be so uptight.

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) Meatloaf, cheesy squash, and green beans.  I may make crescent rolls.  (meatloaf is: 1 lb. ground beef, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 box cornbread stuffing mix, 2 eggs.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour and top with ketchup.)

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? We're going to start TTC next fall.

Favorite baby names? We're naming our next boy Pierson.  NO STEALING! Stick out tongue We don't have any girl names at allllll.

How do you make your hamburgers? 85% lean ground beef from the meat market, shape into patty, top with serendipity seasoning, grill.  I usually saute onions with a little butter, salt and pepper and add some balsamic vinegar to them once they're soft.

  • What can you not stop eating lately? Everything. The PMS monster attacks.Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows)  At least an 8, which is about normal here. What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) Crockpot french dip sandwiches: 1 chuck roast, 1 packet Beefy Onion soup mix, about 3/4 cup water (I usually use broth but forgot to buy). Cooked in slow cooker for about 7 hours or so, shredded, and am now keeping warm. I will serve it on whole wheat rolls, with broth for dipping, and sweet potato fries and a big pickle.Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? Nothing interesting, really.Favorite baby names? I like names that start with vowels...I also like Cora, because it was my grandmother's name. I typically go for names that aren't cutesy. My test is to put Dr. in front of the name with our last name after it to see if it sounds right. How do you make your hamburgers? Usually I just hand-form them, and sprinkle them with whatever seasoning I feel like. Sometimes they get caramelized onions or blue cheese.

  • What can you not stop eating lately? Peanuts.  The kind in the shell.

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows) 10! We had a great weekend!

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) I had a few pretzels and some leftover steamed veggies.  Lame.

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? My lesbian SIL changes her relationship status on FB multiple times a week between two different girls.  Now the two different girls are friends with each other.  I'm dying to know what the hell is going on, but not enough to actually ask her...because that would require me to speak to her.

Favorite baby names? Girl- Hadlee. Boy- Brody and Mason. I also like Harper, but I'm torn on if I like it for a boy or girl.

How do you make your hamburgers? Simple.  Round them into patties and then salt, pepper, and season all both sides.  H grills them to perfection and keeps them really juicy.  I usually saute onions to put on top.

  • What can you not stop eating lately? I've been trying to count my calories, so nothing really.  I have had a couple of banana fudge sundaes from Braum's in the past few weeks though.  So yummy.

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows) Really good, I'd say an 8.

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) I put some steaks in the fridge to thaw, I'm not sure what we'll have with them though.

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? not that I can think of

Favorite baby names? Boy names - Bradley, Drake and Hank.  Girl names - I really love the name Jolie, but I kind of think it's too cute-sy.  I have trouble finding girl names I really like.

How do you make your hamburgers? mix ground beef with diced onion, worcestershire sauce, salt and peppeper and form into patties.  I prefer them cooked in my cast iron skillet, but in the summer we usually grill them.

  • What can you not stop eating lately?  Ice cream.  I love the stuff and there were tons of ice cream stands in Maine so I tried about every berry flavor I could find.  It helps make up for all this heat.

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now? On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows)  We are a solid 10 right now after just getting back from vacation in Maine.  We had the perfect trip and I love the memories we're going to have forever.  I love going to a place where we both enjoy it SO MUCH compared to something that's just on one person's bucket list.

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) I'm probably just going to grab some salad fixins from Braum's on the way home.

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share?  There's a guy at work who comes in late and leaves early every single day... and he keeps his desk light and computer on so it looks like he's just away from his desk.  And we're not talking 5 or 10 minutes by any means.  Oh, and he charges in mileage when he's supposedly "running errands" for work.  I'm going to start messing with his desk and make it more obvious what he's doing just to see if anyone notices.

Favorite baby names?  I like the baby name that Ivanka picked out for her baby... Arabella Rose.  I have other favorites, but I think that's one of the better celeb names lately that's not too wacky.

How do you make your hamburgers?  We generally don't make hamburgers at home.

  • imageBoyMom21:

What can you not stop eating lately?  Truthfully, I am not hungry at all. Thinking about eating in heat like this makes me want to barf.

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows)  Probably a 9.  I wonder what DH would say?  He has been super supportive of my unemployment and about me waiting for a perfect opportunity (of which I have found two, please cross your fingers that one of them pans out).

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) Spaghetti

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? Huh. I don't think I have any!  Although, there is some major bump drama today - someone posted that her husband was busted for soliciting a minor.

Favorite baby names? I have always loved the name Emma - but now it has become popular so I am over it.  I don't think about baby names because I do not plan to TTC ever.

How do you make your hamburgers?  Make them round.  Add some seasoning. Grill

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows) 7

What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) I think DH's making tacos from a seasoning packet. It's time for a full grocery trip, not just picking things up here and there.

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? not really drama, but I'm taking a trip to Canada next month for work and just found out today that per company policy for international travel, I have several additional documents I need to submit before then. I've known about this trip for 6 months; this morning was the first time our training coordinator mentioned the policy, which everyone else in the meeting already seemed to know about.

Favorite baby names? I prefer traditional names. For a boy, I like Alex or Anthony. I don't have any favorite girl names though.

How do you make your hamburgers? basic ones, just form the patty then add a little salt and pepper before grilling. Add cheese when done.

Favorite baby names? I tend to like names that others give a good eyeroll at - they're mostly family names: Girls: Murphy, Morgan, Lucy Jane - Boys: Ransom, Mason. I also really love Teddy, Kirby, and Charlie. They were all names of men in my family, but I think they're super cute girl names.

How do you make your hamburgers? Simple. On the grill, medium, cheese, ketchup, and pickles!

Where's your marriage/relationship at right now?  On a scale of 1-10: (1 being complete crap and 10 being puppies and rainbows) Probably about a 7.5, mainly because of the distance and how busy we both have been this summer. What are you making for dinner? (recipe share if you're interested!) Last night, I ordered pizza. It was goooooood, too.

Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? Not really - life's been pretty boring in that department lately. Either that or I just haven't been paying enough attention around me to catch the drama...

Favorite baby names? I really like Tessa and Brooklyn. I'm hoping that once we start TTC again [probably sometime this winter, if H isn't deployed], and if we have a girl, I can get H to agree to Brooklyn.

How do you make your hamburgers? 85% lean ground beef...toss in some seasoning salt and a couple of other ingredients that are currently slipping my mind, shape into patties and grill. I typically do them on the stove top since I don't have a grill, but they're still good.

How do you make your hamburgers? I use super lean ground beef that falls apart easily, so I add some breadcrumbs or oatmeal to keep it together a bit. Add some ketchup to the meat to keep it moist from the breadcrumbs, season it with Penzey's Chicago Steak Seasoning, and then grill. Any drama/gossip/stories in your life or someone else's that you'd like to share? My brother and his girlfriend broke up, and won't tell us the reasoning. Favorite baby names?

We've never actually talked about this.

How do you make your hamburgers?

Usually on the grill. I make giant burgers usually.  Occasionally, I'll get nostalgic for the way my dad made burgers and cook up a greasy mess on the stove.
