Going to be an aunt again - twice
Yesterday DH and I were at FIL's and found out that DH's brother and his wife are in the middle of the adoption process and are basically just waiting to get the clear on their physicals then be chosen by a birth mom to be the adoptive parents. That is exciting news since we weren't sure if they (BIL's wife) wanted kids at all (she is unable to have kids). They expect to have a newborn within the next 9-12 months.
A couple hours later DH's sister shows up at FIL's and announces that she is 8 weeks pregnant. This is the one that just got married in St Lucia in April.
DH and I are so excited for them and that our LO will have a cousin nearby to play with and one his age to play with if/when we go visit BIL in San Diego.
FIL and SMIL are wondering what they did to deserve 3 grandkids in one year. They kept saying "Be carful what you wish for."

Funny, my SIL is due 2/28 and hoping for a Leap Year baby.
