Has anyone ever been on one of these things? One of my good friends is looking to do something different for her husband's birthday and he loves the water, so I got some info on a few different ones for her. Some are drinks only, some are dinner and drinks can be purchased. They range from $37-43. I was just wondering- how the food is, how the drinks are, what the atmosphere is like, etc. Thanks!
Re: dinner/sunset cruise
We did one of these in college as a group event. The food was OK but not fabulous. It was a buffet so some stuff went very quickly and you had to wait for it to be replenished. We did have fun though and the atmosphere was good.
I've also been on a gaming/dinner cruise and I hated every moment. Again it was a buffet but the food was awful and it was very smoky.
Depennding on the size of the group you may also want to consider this: windsongcharters.com
That's nice that you could bring your own stuff! I didn't see anything like this out of Clearwater, I'll keep looking. Thanks!
Thanks for the information, I will pass it along to my friend. That windsong charters looks really nice, I would love to do the full day charter, with the private chef on the island.
