Any Etsy sellers who've done all the official tax paperwork?
I'm a seller on Etsy and have been since Jan of this year. I also do freelance work. I've registered my business name but I'm unsure about what to do next. I want to make sure I've filed all the necessary paperwork needed to be a legitimate business in Texas.
I believe I'm classified as a sole proprietorship operating under a trade name. I've tried to wade through all the paperwork several times but I just get stuck. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I just did about 2 months ago but am an LLC, didn't want people coming after my personal stuff.
