Random: What size TV do you have in your bedroom?
We have an old 19 inch right now that's about ready to die. I thought about buying one for DH for his b-day since he's been begging me to get a new one forever. He thinks we need a 32 inch, but I think he's crazy. I'm perfectly fine with the 19 inch. Our current bedroom is pretty small, and I really only anticipate the bedroom in whatever new house we buy to not be *that* much bigger, so I don't think that there would be a need to have a much bigger TV for our bedroom in the new house...that and the fact that we really only watch the TV in our bedroom for maybe an hour a day, if that. So if you have a smaller TV in your bedroom, what size is it and do you think it's big enough? TIA!
Re: Random: What size TV do you have in your bedroom?
I only have a 13-inch TV, it's the same one my parents gave me for my 13th birthday, so it's huge as far as taking up space... If I bought a new TV for my bedroom I might go slightly bigger, but I watch stuff on my computer more often than on the TV.
We have a 32 inch in our bedroom, but mainly because I considered it my sanctuary when stepson lived with us. I do like it though, we have it on a dresser at the foot of our bed and it doesn't seem big. We also have a pretty ginormous bed, so it seems to fit...
Ditto this. But don't think we don't love our tv watching, we have 6 tvs in other places in the house, just not the bedrooms.
As far as size, are we talking flat screen of some sort? If so, 32 would be ok. You don't want a huge honking 32'' tube tv in your bedroom.

Our bedroom TV is 42" and not my choice. My husband can't deal without a TV in the bedroom and it made more sense to upgrade our living room TV and move the old one into the bedroom. Its ridiculous and uneccesary and feels like a stinkin movie theatre screen but it works and it doesn't look totally crazy. It's on our chest dresser.

No tv in our room either but we used to have a 19 in one. J and I just didn't use it so we took it out. I thought 19in was plenty big especially in our size of a room. I did love the option of laying in bed watching it though...and truthfully kind of miss it!
As far as tv getting in the way of sex...I think that is the couples fault. You can make time for sex whether you have a tv in your bedroom or not!

32" and it's the perfect size. We bought right before E was born and love having it in the bedroom to watch news in the morning/night.
Also, great to have with Elsie when she climbs into our bed early on Saturday mornings, she can watch cartoons while we finish waking up.
