So. hot. already.
Derek got it in his head yesterday that we should tile a few more rows in the soon-to-be-kitchen. Yeah, worst idea ever. The thinset was way too dry and we just fought with it all night. So frustrating.
Tonight, baseball. I'm going to go at lunch and pick up a giant cooler jug that I can fill with ice water to bring with us. Then I'm going to collapse in our a/c'd room and sleep for ever.
The forecast for Thursday is 36?C (97?F), feels like 46?C (115?F) with the humidity. Oy vey. I think that evenings plan will be to go to the mall!

I'm tired again today, and already looking forward to the weekend. Is it only Tuesday? Normal work day, and then drinks with coworkers this evening. I've been procrastinating doing the amendment for our taxes, but DH will probably nudge me on that again this evening. I swear I spend more than half the year working on my taxes in one country or another.

The heat is ridiculous and I am so ready for fall weather.
Last night was low key. Dh had to work but he made a yummy dinner before he left. The kids played and, I cleaned up the kitchen. I got to lay on the couch last night and read my book while I pretended to watch wresteling with Jordan. WWE is our (his) new favorite thing. I HATE IT!
Tonight should be much of the same. DH is going to meet me at storage this afternoon to put some things in storage and get the 6-9 month clothes out for Preston. I can't believe he is just now getting to wear 6-9 months clothes. I am going to start washing the clothes tonight and hopefully have them put up by this weekend.

Today my big sister is in town, so I'm excited to see her. The last few days Sean has been playing plumber with his buddy to redo the pipes in the basement which made for a crabby me, because there was no running water for the majority of the day. However i'm thankful that we no longer have the galvanized pipes they were seriously old and corroded, I don't want to drink or bath in that crap.
I want to go out for dinner tonight because it's balls hot here too, and I don't feel like cooking!
Good morning. It's crazy hot here still as well. I feel like I need to go back home and take another shower after my 10 minute walk from my parking lot to my building. I'm planning on running to the bank at lunch and hate to imagine how hot it will be by then.
Last night was good. Kyle, although still not in the greatest of moods, was quite a bit better last night. He needed to run into town to pick up a check for some beef. I rode along with him and we grabbed some dinner while we were in town. We tried out a restaurant that we had never been to before. The food was great. I have to say though, I am really looking forward to going on vacation so that I can get some fresh seafood. Fresh seafood doesn't really exist when you're surrounded by cornfields.

It was 90* inside the house last night, so we sat out on the patio until after 10pm. Fortunately it cools off overnight (into the 60s) so we can pump some cool air into the house early in the morning. Sometimes I really wish we had A/C.

Morning! I only have a half day today because I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. I've had weird spotting all cycle long and I never have spotting. I called the nurse last week and because it was not normal for me and I was freaking out a little bit, I get to come in this afternoon for a poking and prodding.
I finished one and a third baby booties last night, so I should finish the second one up today. Then I want to look for a hat pattern to go with them. I might do a little sweater, too, if I can find one that looks easy enough for a beginner.

Morning everyone. It's stupid hot here too. I heard on NPR this morning that it was supposed to be cooler than yesterday, but no dice.
Last night, B and I went to see Temple of Doom in the park near us. It was lots of fun, although, I do wish it had been just a bit cooler.
Not too much on the agenda today, but I hope everyone has a good day and stays cool.
Last night was low key. I slept terrible the night before so I just curled up on the couch and watched master chef.
Tonight I'm going for a run and then hopefully figuring out what I am going to wear this weekend for my Grandpa's 80th Birthday.
Last night I had super busy and productive night, I don't think I even sat down once until I hopped into bed. I workout, made dinner, did some laundry, cleaned the kitchen, and fertilized and watered the lawn.
Tonight should be a little more low key, just workout and dinner.
Morning ladies. It's going to be a difficult day at work today. We're laying off a coworker in my department who I've worked with for the last three years. He's a nice guy, but he just isn't up to handling the job and he's just lazy. I still feel bad and I'm the one who has to watch him collect his things from his office and ask for his passwords. It's gonna suck.
Other than that, no real plans for today. I may hang with my BFF tonight if she comes over to visit us. Hope you all have a good day.
Last night was low key, it was nice. We worked in the garden a bit while we made hotdogs and fries on the grill. We then went for a walk down by the water and got gelato.
Tonight I'll be applying for 2 jobs, hearing about DH and kiddos adventures today and hopefully relaxing.

Raynes - zomg, they're calling for 49? now with the humidex for Thursday. Our a/c is totally working overtime! Is it crazy that I'm excited for a humidex of only 38? on Friday?
We did a performance today in drama class for the rest of the teachers at school - any teachers in charge of a remembrance day assembly, I'll have a video of it. It's a really cool collective piece (with the exception of my bad acting).
We're putting the last few details on our Hawaii trip. I just booked a photo/hiking tour with a guide on Kauai. I cannot wait!
