Are you going on any vacations this year? No upcoming trips that I know of. Maybe a work conference in Arizona in the fall or potentially in Chicago, that I would definitely tack some extra days onto. Other than that, long weekends in Cape Cod where my parents now live; all I need is a beach, and I am happy.

What's your favorite song at the moment? That is a tough one, I've been very indifferent to a lot of songs lately. I'm diggin the new Coldplay though.

What's your guilty pleasure? Celebrity magazines or celebrity news shows. I don't read/watch them every day, and definitely am out of the loop in many ways, but I like to indulge every once in a while.

Your H is gone for the weekend and you have house to yourself, what do you do? Order Thai food or cook something he doesn't eat, like shrimp scampi. Watch a chick flick or create my own Sex and the City marathon. Maybe invite some girlfriends over, maybe enjoy some alone time. Sleep in. Watch TV he wouldn't watch (see celebrity news shows above)

What was the last item you "splurged" on? Hmm, it has been a while and I'm totally a bargain shopper. Jointly, we just bought a 46" LED/3D TV last night. I feel like we were the last people on earth to get a flat screen, and we only did it because our box TV is finally on it's last legs. Oh, and we finally upgraded to DVR. Individually, probably the pedicure I got recently (not that exciting).

Do you know what a "bubbler" is? A water fountain, correct? We called them water fountains, but right over the border in NY state (I grew up in CT) they call them bubblers. I didn't hear the term until college though!

Yep, a water fountain. Most times when people hear bubbler, they're like Hmm "WTF is a bubbler?"

Do you like to cook? What is your favorite dinner to make on a weeknight? I'm starting to enjoy cooking a little more than I used to. Weeknights it is all about easy, and I'm a Nooner-follower:) Her tettrazini and spicy carbonara are great weeknight meals. I also make an easy "cheeseburger pie" (ground turkey, cheese, and biscuits on top) and a pizza/pasta recipe that I got from a niner somewhere along the way (ground turkey, pasta, marinara, with pepporoni and mozz on top).

What is your favorite dessert to order when you're out? If I'm going fancy, creme brulee'. More basic, I'm a sucker for chocolate cake or a brownie sundae (warm brownie, cold vanilla ice cream...yum!)

What is your favorite mixed drink? Gin and tonics, or vodka tonics. Every once in a while a margarita will hit the spot.

What is your favorite place in New England for a day trip? Hmm...we did a great day trip to Gloucester a couple years ago, complete with a whale watch, yummy dinner, and ice cream. Would love to do it again soon. I love Newport, but we usually do that in a weekend. Next up on my list is Portsmouth NH, haven't explored it yet and hope to this fall.

What has been your favorite vacation? Bermuda for our honeymoon/1 year anniversary was pretty much spectacular. Second to that would be Vegas with a girlfriend about 7 years ago....so. much. fun.

What turns you on the most about your H? Physically, his eyes and his mouth. Other than that, he is a very brave man, yet very sensitve. And he definitely makes me laugh.

The least? Physically, he has put on some weight. But mostly it's ok:) Not sure it is so much something that turns me off, but he is messy, and it drives me crazy!

Would YOU eat a live octopus for $1,000? Sorry sweetie, another NO for me!!! You should have seen my reaction when I uncovered a live worm while mulching with H this weekend....he couldn't believe I screamed like that. over a worm. I don't like slithery things!

What the best meal you've ever had? Of recent memory, a seafood risotto at this little Italian restaurant in Bermuda (of all places). I still dream about that thing.

What's for lunch today? Ha...a leftover Nooner recipe! I made your crock pot pork roast on Sunday when the in-laws came over. I've made it a couple times, and it is so yummy (not to mention easy and almost impossible to mess up). They were very impressed as well! I did mashed potatoes instead of the egg noodles this time....such a great Sunday meal.

if you could have any meal right now, what would it be? I have been craving Pad Thai, or lobster.

What color is your toothbrush? Purple

how did you and your best friend meet? My best friend M and I have been best friends since nursery school/preschool. I think that is how we met; our parents played racquetball together so they knew each other, and once we were in the same class we instantly became friends.

If you were going to get arrested for something, what would it be for? Lately, road rage. Back in the day it would have been much more scandalous, I lead a very boring life now.

Hmm, I think generally I went through a bad-boy stage with my ex-boyfriend (a stage that lasted on and off for many years) and during that period did a lot of things I'm not proud of. "Scandalous" is in the eye of the beholder, but some examples: during college would sneak to my hometown and hole up in a hotel with said boy for days at a time without telling my parents (my town is not THAT big), some drug use that I'd rather not detail, and a threesome that I'm not going into detail about

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I'm not sure I could LIVE anywhere else, but I would give Australia a try (although never been there). I loved Denver, but I need a beach nearby. I always thought I could live in DC.

I have a dinner meeting at TGI Fridays tonight, what should I order? I have not been to TGIF's in a long time, but I would suggest one of their yummy salads (as long as you are aware that they put so much crap on them that they are anything but healthy). If you feel like indulging, I would suggest their Jack Daniel's burger (if they still have it) that has basically a fried mozzarella as the "cheese" on it....holy goodness.

What's the best movie you've seen recently in theaters? I think it was Avatar. We don't spend money on the movies all that much. It was cool to see Avatar in 3D on the big screen. On DVD? The King's Speech...very good!
