Buy Jack a toddler Hamster Ball.
I was comparing prices of Gymboree and Little Gym, I have to get the prices for 2 other places still. I am trying to find something Jack can do with me watching and not participating in since I will have the baby. Or for my mom and Jack to do then on a Friday.
Re: DH reply to Little Gym:
they sell it at Costco - we have one
it's an inflatable ball with a holed center - kid climbs in and has a ball running it. adults fit too; a little more cramped though.
i think it was $40 - my dad picked it up. we had to hang it from the garage ceiling on a dowel because really, who wants to blow that giant hamster ball up every time you want to occupy a kid outside????
My brother bought a huge one for my niece and nephew. I think it was well over 100. However it went up to I think 250 lbs. I agree you need to keep it blown up and a repair kit as the plastic was not that strong and it got a few holes.
If your still looking for places check out the gymnastics place near frozen ropes in Danbury (I think they have a little kids program if my memory is correct) or maybe gymmagic (not sure if that's the right name) on 22. (I don't remember as much little kid stuff at this gym) I think you pay more for things labeled for little kids.
