More Verizon Fios Questions

For those who have had it a while, how much did your bill go up after the one year promotional period?  And are you happy with Fios in general?  Are there less wires than with cable?  We have Optonline and the promotional period is about to end, so our bill is about to get hiked up.

  • Are promotional period is 2 years, we just hit 1 year.

    We did though call up and had them reduce our bill 20$ a month for 1 year threatening to switch to Comcast:)

  • We like it a lot... we never have any real problems with it.  Our DVR bust and was drama like a month ago but they sent someone out who fixed it and all is good in the world because we also go the new box which is 1,000x better than the boxes we have from 2 years ago.  Our bill did go up after the promo period I don't really remember how much but we called and said we were going to leave and they gave us a $50 discount per month.
