My parents land at SFO in an hour and a half!
We have 3 tiny nursling kitties that make us smile, partially by being nurslings whose eyes haven't even opened yet, and partially because in roughly a month they'll be on their way to loving foster homes and then adoptive homes. And until then, we can teach our son to be gentle with fragile things.
My sister sent nesting matroyka dolls with my mom. Except instead of the traditional women, they are painted as Russian presidents. She bought it when she was in Russia in '93. They will go on the mantle by my bobblehead dead authors.
1. Our home is so lovely in the morning. Sun comes in the big windows and makes kitties sleepy and everything is so green outside. I love it here.
2. It's been cool enough lately that all three kitties are sleeping with me.
3. Husband has been just awesome lately. I've been a ball of stress, but he's always right there with great advice. I depend on him so much and it feels so good to have someone believe in me.
It's been really nice starting to create a home with H. We're establishing routines and working through a lot of stuff, and it's given me a lot of encouragement and hope for the future.
I will be starting grad school at SJSU next month, to get my masters in music. Getting pretty excited about that.
We should be getting our wedding photos back soon!

1. T and I are in an awesome place, having fun together and excited about what the rest of the year will bring. And we've had lots of sexy time.
2. I'm finally going to start my yearly photobooks. I've been thinking about them for a long time and I'm excited to get started!
3. I feel content for the first time since March. Honest to goodness, happy and content. It's a great feeling.And it's leaking over into work, friends, and projects.
1. Our house is set on a hill and we have the most beautiful sunset view. Every evening is like going on vacation, and all I have to do is walk outside.
2. My car is finally finished at the shop and we are going to go pick it up tonight!
3. I recently signed up for a masters swim program and even though getting up early is kicking my butt, I'm loving every minute of it.

2. We have 2 pretty secure jobs that neither of us hate
3. We are financially comfortable
DH got a job! In manufacturing, which is something that actually excites him! It pays a little more than unemployment right now, but we know we're just at the tip of the iceberg.
Last night was the first night in MONTHS that I've sat down by myself and watched TV. This used to be a nightly occurrence. I think it's healither this way.
After many, many housetraining accidents, we decided as a family to not let our little Lulu puppy out of our sight. It's been two days since we've had to clean up pee or poo!

3. I got up early, cleaned the house, made biscotti, did the laundry and its only 11 am. Now i have the rest of the day to do what ever I want.
1. My dogs are clean and smell wonderful. I love how soft their fur is too.
2. I created a gallery wall in my family room. I still need photos but I have all the frames up on the wall and I love it.
3. My family comes this weekend and I plan to spoil them while they are here.
Cooking Blog
1. I am glad my husband is back and we are doing no more major traveling for the rest of the year.
2. That we COULD be homeowners by July 29th (still waiting for the loan docs).
3. That my husband told me that he is looking forward to making this house our home.
1) I slept better last night (I've been having trouble sleeping lately).
2) Our 5th anninversary's on Friday.
3) The apt is almost completely set up now.
4) In 2 weeks we'll be in NYC!

1. I get my first "big" paycheck from the new job on Friday. So happy to be making more $$$
2. I feel like I am rocking at my new job! Granted, I'm only barely scratching the surface of what I will be doing, but I have had rave reviews from my supervisors. One even came up to me this morning and said she heard around that I am doing great!
3. DH and I are saving up for a MUCH needed vacation at the end of the year, and I am so excited looking through all the travel sites. I wish I was on vacation now! But the daydreaming is fun
1. We got some news re a job for H last night that could be amazing. Have to wait and see.
2. I have a beautiful, healthy baby.
3. We had dinner with one of my BFF and her BF last night. I'm so so happy that she found an amazing guy that treats her well.
I'm back on WW and feeling really positive about getting in shape again (had to take 6 weeks off from the gym due to my medical stuff)
I started my new job yesterday
I'm seeing Soundgarden tomorrow!!!!
