Rec your dentist!

Hi, I just moved to the Columbia area.  Anyone else here love their dentist??  If you do, please let me know!  My toothache is really revving up and I need to see someone!!  I hate going to a new dentist blind - I am cavity-prone and I do not like dentists filling every single little cavity they see on Xray, especially when I don't have symptoms.

Thanks!

Re: Rec your dentist!

  • I really like Dr. Enlow at Menton Family Dental in Ellicott City right off 108.  I had a bad experience at another dentist in Columbia and switched to her several years ago.  DH now goes to her too and has had a great experience despite some dental issues that he has been having.  I think it was NDM that recommended the hygienist there that we go to there now too.

  • My DH and I both see Dr. Enlow after a rec from Mrs.NDM.  We both have been very happy with the practice.
  • DH and I go to healthy smiles in elkridge.  we really like them, they are a husband and wife team, both grads from UM.  the husband actually played football from UMCP.

I have to add that i hate the dentist and these guys are great, did not hurt me, did not make fun of me because of my fear of the dentist.  the office is nice and clean.  they give a nice bag of supplies when you leave too.

  • We go to Dr. Linda Jones-Laper in Elkridge. We've only been here for a year so we've only been a couple times. We're really happy with them so far. We're considering staying with them even though we moved and it's not so close anymore (we originally chose them because they were 5 mins from our apartment). Her hygienists are all very nice. I had to get a filling a few months ago. I had a chip on one of my front teeth that I was very self conscious about. She fixed the chip for free :-)
  • We like Dr. Liebeskind in Silver Spring, he's about 14 miles south of Columbia right off of Route 29. VERY nice, low key, does not try to sell you dentistry you don't need; hygienists are gentle and knowledgeable.
