Re: TMI Tuesday...
childhood- (I'd never admit this to anyone but you ladies) When I was about 10, my friend and I found a medical book on the bookshelf in my loft and decided we'd research the male anatomy.. well there was a corresponding computer program that went with it and you could click any body part and it would say the name of it and a brief description... my friend and I kept clicking it repeatedly and both of my parents walked in on us and weren't mad, but we were definitely busted.
wedding- For my garter removal, my DH was asked by the DJ to give me a little dance before he started (this was not on my known agenda)... and our pastor was sitting right at the table behind where it was going on... people started asking DH where he learned his moves... and he said from TV... he doesn't even watch porn, but now everyone has their own opinions.
personal- to be honest, nothing has embarrassed me much more than having aunt flow interrupt great sexy time or queefing while in the act...
silly- During a high school dance performance, during my quick change, I realized that my shorts were on the other side of the stage and I didn't have time to put them on before the number started... so I had to go out and do the dance (including a mini solo) with just a long shirt and tights on.. oh well.
I know I've shared this before.
When I was taking figure skating lessons, I was skating backwards, preparing to jump, and I jumped right out the door of the rink onto some college students. Nobody got hurt (thankfully) and they just shoved me right back out onto the ice. I kept skating like nothing had happened, until I got over to the penalty box, where my mother had been sitting. She was rolling around on the bench of the penalty box, laughing so hard she was practically peeing her pants.
I stopped pretending nothing had happened at that point.

bay- that's horrible of your mom... I understand why she'd find it funny, but she could have waited to do it at home... maybe she would be the embarrassed one if she actually DID pee her pants?..
(Speaking of peeing pants, I had a friend that peed her pants during her cake cutting after her wedding... she was laughing so hard... luckily she had changed into white pants instead of her dress, but everyone got a kick out of it!)
childhood- I was sooooo shy as a child and this caused many embarrassing moments. In second grade, I was staying after class to work on something, and i was so afraid to ask the teacher to go to the bathroom, I just peed on the chair. And left it (because again, I was too shy to tell her). Then, in 7th grade I had to give a book report in front of the class. I had so much anxiety that I just stumbled through the report, face red, sweating under my armpits, and pretty much just looked like a train wreck. I think the teacher was afraid I was going to pass out.
wedding- Okay, I don't know this person personally but a friend of a friend was so nervous she laughed down the aisle. That would be sort of okay except her laugh was one of those distinctive "donkey laughs." Oh wait, you wanted MY most embarrassing moments.
So, at my twin's wedding I sort of caught the bouquet (sister caught it and threw it on the ground, where I tried to pick it up to give it back to her, but the DJ didn't "get" what was going on, so announced me the "winner"). Well again I am super shy, and the dude who caught the garter was just awkward (and already engaged). His attempts at putting the garter on me were, trust me, painful for everyone to watch. After that incident, I vowed never to the bouquet/garter toss at my wedding (and dh complied).
personal- Well, I somehow find myself in these situations where I start my period and bleed through my pants... while in a professional setting. UGH! Once, I was at a conference and interviewing (media stuff) when I realized... oh no... and I was wearing kakis. I had nothing to cover my bum to hide it, so I literally backed out the door oh-so-awkwardly when the interviews were over. I am sure everyone wondered why I was walking backwards across the room.
silly- My lil sis and I were once driving my mom's car. It was one of those new-fangled cars with digital mph. Well, we were on a back country road, and I suddenly realized Lil Sis was driving 90 MILES AN HOUR!!! I *gasped* and pointed out her daredevil ways to which she was shocked.... "But it doesn't feel like 90... " Every time she hit the accelerator and the mph went up, I screamed "You're going to crash on these winding roads!!!!!!!!" So she would slow down to make the speedometer look "right" but then... wait... we'd notice how slooooow we were going. Well, we crawled home to our mom (with cars backing up behind us), gasping every time the speed skyrocketed. Of course, when we got home and had Mom inspect the situation, it turned out that yeah, you prob guessed already... the speedometer had been accidentally set to kph. We laughed sooooo hard about that one.
From the sounds of it, it seems like we have similar lives... or at least lives with plenty of stories to go around
I'm sure I could come up with plenty more, but didn't want to be boring. haha. At least you can find humor in your moments
