Aparently you don't have to actually take broken parts off of cars and fix them, you just charge for the parts and add on a few days worth of labor to the bill and call it good. At least thats what one mechanic thinks you can do.
I'm glad I have friends and neighbors who know cars, because when I got my car back from the mechanic and it was still having the same problem someone else offered to give it a look real quick and stumbled upon a little situation. The things I got charged for were never touched/fixed/replaced/dusted off/pondered over, nothing. I'm beyond furious and to make matters worse, DH called the mechanic I PAID to "fix" my car to let him know he would be fixing this little situation and he found out he is on vacation this week. So now I'm out of a car for another week, and I want my money back! Does he not know the RAGE of a pregnant woman?
(I know not all mechanics are like this one gem, I'm just being super judgy about this guy).
