How are you beating the heat? Ditto others... staying inside! Thank goodness for A/C. The A/C in my car isn't working very well so that's a bummer but thankfully I don't have many places to drive to.
Any Summer vacations planned? Nope. Maybe camping but even then we won't go anywhere special, just somewhere local (within a few hrs).
What kind of outfit are you wearing today? Black work pants, a purple button down with a black tank underneath.
What was the last thing that you purchased? Birthday cards for my BIL & FIL. Their Bday is today and DH just remembered last night. Other than that, our new bedset!! We bought it on Saturday night and are picking it up tonight.

Usually I don't have a ton of time during the day to be on the nest, but our systems are down at work today, so I'll play!
How are you beating the heat? Staying inside! Besides playing softball in the evenings, I've been indoors most of the time for the past week.
Any Summer vacations planned? Unfortunately, no
What kind of outfit are you wearing today? A black and white dress with a red belt and red shoes
What was the last thing that you purchased? Subway for lunch. Besides that, carpet for our basement! We moved in to our house in January and the only real update it HAD to have was carpet in the basement, since it is just concrete down there right now. I'm so excited to expand the livable space in our house!

Any Summer vacations planned?
We had our big road trip at the end of June - went through ND, MT, Bighorns, Yellowstone, Las Vegas, Phoenix (I had a conference there), Colorado/Rocky Mountain National Park, and Mount Rushmore. We're going to St. Louis in a few weeks for a family reunion for D's family. Busy summer for us!
What kind of outfit are you wearing today? Cropped pants and a sleeveless top. I'm lounging this week - no meetings or anything, so I get to hang out around the house.
What was the last thing that you purchased? A birthday card for my mom.
How are you beating the heat? Not stepping out the door. I thought I would enjoy being a SAHM in the winter but summer is nice too
Any Summer vacations planned? Just booked a anniversary vacation to Lanesboro

How are you beating the heat? Well we were in the BWCA the past 4-days and we'd just jump in the lake when we got hot. Currently we'll probably be staying inside and saving our semi-daily walk for when it starts to get dark tonight.
Any summer vacations planned? As I said, just got back from 4-days in the BWCA last night. Awesome weekend, we caught lots of fish and saw a moose :-) In 10 days I'm doing a weekend of camping with 3 of my girlfriends. Labor day weekend we're heading to DC to meet our (then) 3 month old nephew :-)
What kind of outfit are you wearing today? Black capris, flip-flops, and polo shirt.
What was the last thing that you purchased? Caramel Cooler on the way into work.
How are you beating the heat? Staying inside when possible. God bless the inventor of central a/c! Also, walking the dog in the mornings only (which has still been hot!).
Any Summer vacations planned? We already had our big vacation in May/early June, we went to Niagara Falls and Toronto. We needed to fit in our vacation before Andy started school. I'm going to Thunder Bay with a girlfriend in a couple weeks, and a family camping trip is planned for late August.
What kind of outfit are you wearing today? Khaki skirt, green sleeveless top under a brown linen jacket and brown sandals.
What was the last thing that you purchased? Groceries last night. Boring, I know.

How are you beating the heat? Pretty much hiding out in the AC. Other than Saturday, I haven't been outside much.
Any Summer vacations planned? Yes, H and I are heading to the Dells on Thurs for our anniversary. I'm also doing a girls' weekend at a friend's cabin the following weekend

Any Summer vacations planned? I don't consider it a vacation but we are going to NYC to visit H's family at the end of August. From NYC we fly directly to L.A. for my cousin's wedding over labor day weekend.

How are you beating the heat? Staying inside as much as possible. Unfortunately. I LOVE being outdoors, so this has been killer.
Any Summer vacations planned? We're going to Duluth for 4 days to celebrate my birthday and take a belated 5th wedding anniversary trip next month.

How are you beating the heat? Staying inside as much as possible. We keep the blinds and shades shut as well to keep the house cooler naturally. I walk the dog right away in the morning and, even though I keep the walk pretty short, I still don't feel well when we get back. Humidity and I don't mix, to the point where I used to faint when I was too warm. Luckily, that hasn't happened in a long time.
Any Summer vacations planned? We were at a cabin in Northern WI last week with my family. It was fun, but we don't have any other vacations planned at this time.
