paolo has to have surgery :-(
she said because of the lump's location it could be a vaccine sarcoma which is basically a malignant tumor that they can get at the vaccination site. they will remove it and test it and if it comes back okay then we're done. if not he'll have to have ct scan to see if it's spread and if it's spread they might have to take his leg. hopefully it will come back as just scar tissue or something but she said she told us that last bit so we are prepared.
she also said he needs a dental so we're looking at about a grand for all this fun. surgery is scheduled for 8/2 - it was the first available.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

Poor Paolo! Is he in any pain now? Lots of vibes that he recovers quickly after the surgery and that it hasn't spread.
You're so good to be taking care of him and dealing with all these issues.
nope he's not in any pain at all! except maybe on his neck from where i did a piss poor job of scruffing him trying to get him in the carrier this morning :-(
the vet called and they had a cancellation so surgery has been moved up to this tuesday. it takes 8 days for the results to come back so it will be awhile before i know anything.
Oh no! Poor Paulo! ...and poor mommy!
