Ebonie

When will you hear from your doctor? Been thinking of you!

How are you and Joe? What's the plan for moving to CO?

Re: Ebonie

  • Aw...thanks! The doc called me yesterday and said my ultrasound came back normal, which means no gallstones. So now, I do a HIDA scan to see how much bile is getting from my liver to small intestine [blech]...that's in a couple of weeks. I'm feeling OK, but I still have to really watch what I eat. Which makes me sad.

Joe and I are doing pretty good. He and I had this really long talk last weekend about us and how to keep our relationship strong...and I think it worked. We talk everyday and Skype at least twice a week, depending on his crazy work schedule. I think we've become stronger, which is awesome. :)

We're currently waiting on deployment orders...he might be up for deployment again. If we can make it through the rest of the year without him being shipped off, we're planning on moving after the holidays and start TTC for baby no. 2 soon after. I am SO excited.

  • And...that turned into a novel. Sorry!

How's Carly and daycare? Is she adjusting OK?

  • Glad you're feeling okay. And good news about no gall stones! I know, sometimes it's worse not knowing what is going on though. Keep us posted after the next procedure.

So glad you and Joe are doing well and have a tentative plan to reunite; I can't imagine how difficult that is for you. Fortunately, your family is there to help you out. Yay for trying for #2, the two of you make cute babies :)

Carly and I are doing really well with the transition, even her teachers said so (about both of us, lol!). Thanks for asking. The hardest part is just trying to get everything done at home in the evenings. And of course, I miss her during the day but know that she is in good hands.
