They're coming to DC and accepting applications. I would love for someone I "know" to be on it. How fun would that be.

Re: HGTV'd
So fun! Thanks for posting this! I never hear about stuff like this, and sure as heck never win anything, but maybe my luck will change.
I sent them a write up & some pictures in an email and they sent me back the questionnaire. I would love for our basement to get a makeover, it is such a big room and we have done nothing with it except fill it with DS's toys, and two couches and a oversized chair down there. It could use some help.
We'll see how it goes...it certainly would be exciting to be chosen.
On a DC Design blog I read. I think Houseography was the one who posted. They all get jumbled in my head since I browse through Google Reader.
Oh. I'm almost a homeowner (6 hours and counting) so I might try to email them. Our third bedroom or sewing study will probably need some help!
FYI - I emailed a bit with the casting agent at HGTV about it this morning. A couple items of note:
- You need to live in VA or DC (something "about the laws and getting releases to film in MD vs. VA")
- "We usually don't makeover master bedrooms but we are making an exception for the DC area if the right story comes along".
