We haven't done this in a bit. What's everyone planning for dinner?

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI seriously should have looked at the forecast this week before meal planning.
Last night we had gnocchi w/pesto sauce and chicken. Tonight I have planned homemade mac & cheese with breaded chicken and side of broccoli for me.
Seriously, two heavy meals on 95+ degree days. What was I thinking?!

Hannah I'm with you on that - we keep making stuff that involves the oven. not smart!
Tonight DH is getting dinner with coworkers after they go on a hike so I've got to fend for myself. I'm thinking some boxed mac and cheese and some sauteed veggies on the side. we will see.

We (stupidly) cooked a roast and potatoes last night. Tomorrow's supposed to be 46 degrees (114 F), so maybe it'll be take out!

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI haven't decided. I kind of think it's Chris' turn to decide. But since that won't happen, I should start thinking about it so we don't end up with Subway or Chickfila.
Also, living in Houston, I think it's interesting that you guys take weather into consideration. Chili and taco soup are the only things that I consider off limits unless it's cold outside. But since we have central a/c, and being hot is just a way of life from April through October, I can't imagine avoiding heavy meals...

I'm working late which means I probably wont get home until 7:45pm so I told Jason to just eat the left over rotisserie chicken that my Mom brought over for us yesterday, so unless there is still some left over of that, I'll probably just make a salad or something.
Ugh, I just remembered that we're out of the salad dressing I use, and I know I wont feel like stopping at the store to get that, so maybe I'll just make a cold sandwich.
It's kind of like how being cold is a way of life for us from November to March

Yum! I had this, but with "real" bacon, on Saturday for lunch. So good!

I would prefer "real" bacon, but we're trying to be good. LOL!! I'm excited though - we haven't had these for dinner in a while!
I hosted our first dinner in our new house - my parents and visiting grandmother came over for dinner with me & DH.
Appetizer: filo-dough filled with feta and carmelized onions (I
Trader Joe's)
Dinner:
Garlic bread
Chicken and mozzarella ravioli in garlic red sauce
Salad with dried tart cherries and blue cheese
Dessert: diced strawberries and whipped cream in angel's food cake bowls
And now my kitchen is all cleaned up

Yum I want a BLT. I thought I'd have a sandwich or a salad, but instead I had 6 mozzarella sticks and a small egg roll...totally random but hit the spot
