Gals with fine hair

I now have super short hair with bangs and VERY fine hair. I have been using Kenra Texturizing Taffy, but it seems to be a bit heavy. I think that I need some new products. What are your favs?

Re: Gals with fine hair

  • No suggestions but I say PIP your hair...I need inspiration!

  • I can't pip...it never works. I used to be able to...hummm. I think that mine is shorter than you want to go. It was about the same style as what SUM posted, but I had a TON cut off yesterday.

:::edit::: I put the horrible photo on the nestie FB page and taged you in it.

  • I love me some Bumble thickening! I use the shampoo, conditioner and spray. Its awesome! Also my hair dresser always tells me to dry my hair in the opposite direction you want it to go in until its pretty much dry then put it back in the direction you want it to go. That works really well too, much better that drying your hair upside down and ending up with huge funny looking hair. lol

When I had short hair I *loved* Aquage. (sp??) It's super expensive and I only bought it once but I really loved it. My hair is so fine that if I put anything in it it just weighs it down and it's not even worth trying most of the time.

A LOT of people buy BB thickening that come into the salon.  They also have a new product called Texture (I think) that both women and men use and like.

When I had super short spiky hair (WAY back in the day) I used to used Sebastian Twisted Taffy...LOVED that stuff..not sure if they make it anymore though.

  • Sebastian Microweb Fiber is great.

  • I dont know what you're tech supposed to use it for but when I had my shorter hair and did the messy straight thing ( I have fine hair but a lot of it) I used TIGI Small Talk, it held my hair but helped style and I love the smell of it.

  • Another girl with super fine hair right here - and I've had about every short, spikey do around. I always go back to Rusk Wired whenever my current style requires product. Love that stuff!
