TTC: How did you decide you were ready to TTC? Was your partner ready at the same time or did you have to get them on board? We decided to try once John was done with law school and had taken (and hopefully passed) the bar. I was ready earlier than that, but knew it was better to wait until our lives were a bit more stable and predictable on the career front.
1st trimester: Are you reading any parenting books? If so, which ones? What do you like/dislike about it? I try not to read too many books bc they really add to my anxiety. We do have Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child we refer to from time to time
3rd trimester: When did/will you have your baby shower or blessingway? My baby shower was at 32 weeks
L&D: What were your first signs of labor? Failed NST and being induced? Didn't have any noticeable signs that labor was coming before I went into the NST.
First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra? I basically live in my Bravada nursing tanks, I have 2 and should probably have more. My cup size increased 3 sizes I think?

We always said around T's 30's bday we would start trying. About 2 weeks before that was our 2nd wedding anniversary and he actually wrote in my anniversary card that he was fully ready for "our next adventure" etc. I was training for a half marathon (or 2) at the time, so we waited until I finished those to officially start "trying" (about 2 months after our original plan of his bday)
1st trimester: Are you reading any parenting books? If so, which ones? What do you like/dislike about it?
No, no parenting books. I know I probably should, but I do feel really focused on getting through the L&D part naturally and with positivity, so it's hard for me to read anything but the positive birth affirmation stuff right now. I'm sure I'll kick myself later for not reading anything about sleeping, bfing, etc...
2nd trimester: What?s the best comment you?ve gotten about ?showing??
Most of the comments I get are sorta rude, I think. "You're huge!" or "Any day now, huh?" when I was like 32 weeks. I did get one lady at Costco a few weeks ago who just said simply, "you look so cute!" and that was nice.
3rd trimester: When did/will you have your baby shower or blessingway?
I had a friend shower at 28 weeks, and a family shower at 31 weeks
First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra?
See, my bff who had the twins in Nov said she was told (and it proved true for her) that her cup size wouldn't increase after about 35 weeks. I just bought 2 bras I looooooove, so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have a huge change in cup size when my milk comes in. But wel'l see...

3rd trimester: When did/will you have your baby shower or blessingway?I had one at 32 weeks and another one at 37 weeks in late June, one week before I delivered. I was so hot and uncomfortable.
L&D: What were your first signs of labor?Hard to say because I was on bed rest for pre-term labor, but a few days before I wasinduced for high blood pressure I had my membranes stripped, my contraction increased and then I lost my MP. I think if I hadn't had my BP spike I would have gone on my own within the next couple of days.
First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra? Um, pre-pregnancy I was a 32D, during PG I increased to a 32DD/DDD and once my milk came in I was a 32F/G. I love my Bravado nursing bras.
Updates: We're loosely planning to TTC #2 some time in the fall/winter.
1st trimester: Are you reading any parenting books? If so, which ones? What do you like/dislike about it? I read a few, HBOTB and such...honestly, I read way too much pregnancy stuff and not enough parenting/baby stuff.
2nd trimester: What?s the best comment you?ve gotten about ?showing?? The worst was people asking when "was" I due 2 months prior to my edd.=( The best was probably when little kids would whisper not so quietly, she has a baby in there...I loved seeing their reactions. I also had a friend make some really nice comments about how beautiful my belly was, that felt good.
3rd trimester: When did/will you have your baby shower or blessingway? Had a family shower at 30 weeks and a friend shower at 36, boy I was a blimp for that one.
L&D: What were your first signs of labor? N/A...Pitocin?
First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra? Maybe it was the polyhydramnios, but I think the milk just replaced the water I was retaining. My boobs got super huge the first half of my pregnancy and just stayed there. I was a 34/36 C prior, swelled up to a 38E and now I'm back to a 36 D/C 17 months pp and 10 months post bf'ing. Favorite nursing bras were some European company I found at the LC at the hospital those things were awesome, I LIVED in them.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.

L&D: What were your first signs of labor? I never went into labor.
First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra? My cup size didn't really increase when my milk came in, but it increased from DD to G during pregnancy. I have had much trouble finding a nursing bra that fits and Medela and Elomi have been the best for my size. I have a Bravada (sp?) tank in the largest size, but it hardly contains my girls.
Updates: Rosie has been a trooper on our roadtrip so far (1700 miles and three days in the truck to get to Oklahoma City).

I have a ton of books saved in my amazon cart, I've just been so nauseous I can't read!

1st trimester: Are you reading any parenting books? If so, which ones? What do you like/dislike about it? I didn't read any parenting books until the very end of the pregnancy! But my degree is in infant/child development, so I wasn't nervous about bringing home a baby.
2nd trimester: What?s the best comment you?ve gotten about ?showing?? I loved any and all comments that showed that people didn't just think I was getting chubby.
3rd trimester: When did/will you have your baby shower or blessingway? I had 2 showers- one was at 34 weeks and one at 36 weeks. I do NOT recommend having a shower 4 weeks before your due date! I was bloated, miserable with PUPPPS, and wanted to have things in order already by that point (but had to wait for the registry gifts). Too late for my taste!
L&D: What were your first signs of labor? Cramping that felt like menstrual cramps. Once I realized they were coming and going, I realized they were contractions.
First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra? Holy moly, I went from a F to an H in cup size.
I have a lot of different nursing bras, but my new Glamour Mom bra is my absolute favorite.

1st trimester: I started the stereotypical "what to expect" I hated it and did not read much of it. I read "the girlfriend's guide to pregnancy" and loved it. I read it with DH. It was very light hearted and sarcastic while still providing the information. She discussed the good the bad and the ugly and I truly enjoyed it.
2nd trimester: At 17 weeks. not showing yet
TTC: How did you decide you were ready to TTC? Was your partner ready at the same time or did you have to get them on board? For DS we decided because I wanted to be done with my master's degree. We were pretty much ready at the same time. This baby we wanted our kids to be about 2 years apart but couldn't try due to my job situation and then it took a lot more to get pregnant this time.
1st trimester: Are you reading any parenting books? If so, which ones? What do you like/dislike about it?My son is 2 and I still have read very few parenting books... Most parenting books I have read have had to do with sleep. One of the guys in my office made a point to tell me how great/cute/fabulous I looked everytime he saw me (rarely) at work when I was showing. It made me feel really good.

First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra? I was a B pre-pregnancy, C during pregnancy and went to a D when my milk came in. So far my favorite bras are the Elle MacPherson nursing bras.

TTC: How did you decide you were ready to TTC? Was your partner ready at the same time or did you have to get them on board?
DH and I had a "state of the union" discussion about two years ago, now. We decided that if I had a job the following year that we would start trying. I didn't. But I did get a new job in September. We made sure that the insurance I got would cover a midwife and homebirth (our preferred birthing option) then went off the pill in October. Just so that my body could readjust to being off the pill and I could start charting. Then came the whirlwind of pregnancy/miscarriages until this May, when apparently with the help of a bunch of meds, this baby is "hopefully" deciding to stick!
1st trimester: Are you reading any parenting books? If so, which ones? What do you like/dislike about it?
I haven't really started on "parenting" books yet. I've read a lot of books on midwives, homebirth, fertility, nutrition and pregnancy, but haven't quite delved into parenting. Next on my list are pain management methods. Then I'll jump into parenting...

L&D: What were your first signs of labor? MP with DD, induced with DS, and not time yet with this one :-)
First days: How much did your cup size increase when your milk came in? What?s your favorite nursing bra? No increase when the milk came in, but I went from a 36c to a 38dd in the first trimester with DS. They went back down to a 38d by the time we were pregnant with this one, and so far no more increases :-)
