Went to IVF class tonight. Deeply disturbed.
Not by the IVF stuff (okay, a little intimidated by the size of the needle DH is going to have to jab in my a$$), but mostly by some of the other people in the class.
There was one couple with a guy that looked and acted old enough to be my grandpa and his much younger mail-order wife. The guy's cell phone kept ringing the first 10 minutes of the class, but he was seriously so deaf he didn't hear the phone making noise or his wife telling him to shut it off. Then when she finally got his attention, he couldn't figure out how to work the phone to turn it off. No lie. If these people get a baby and I don't, I am going to be f-ing p!ssed off.

That's just strange. Im hoping you guys get your baby first. One of my good friends just (well not *just*) went through her first IVF procedure and she is now 18 weeks along. Just found out they are having a little girl.
She was SO freaked out after that class/seminar and completely overwhelmed after they went over her medication list. But it was all worth it and it worked for her on the first try. I'll be thinking of you.
