vent and vibes
my computer hates me and ate my attempt to post this earlier.
My vent is in my blog for those who want to read it.
As for the vibes: please send any vibes/ T&P/ good thoughts etc. to my great aunt. I just found out today that she has seriously advanced throat cancer (the same type that my twin had earlier this year).
She has lost over half her body weight in the last two months because of a golf ball sized tumor in her throat which prevents her from eating and drinking. She doesn't have insurance or much money to get treatment so she's just been trying to deal on her own. She finally is able to go in for surgery to remove the tumor, but she is so weak that the doctors have told my family they don't expect her to make it. Even if she does, her body is too weak to go through chemo or radiation... even if she could find a way to afford it... so the chances of her passing in the next few weeks are incredibly high.
I really want to go see her, but she's in NY and I have finals the day she is scheduled for surgery. It just isn't possible. Any help she could get from your T&P would be appreciated. She pretty much needs a miracle right now.

Is there any chance your professor would let you take your final a day early or late?
Nope. This professor is the same one who made fun of me and is just generally a douchebag. I would have to go through the university to be excused and there isn't enough time.
