I voted no, but I don't agree with the wackadoo part.
I did live with a girl who had them (I think that's what it was). She would be sitting on the couch watching daytime tv (that's what she did, while making her makeup and hair perfect for hours) and all of a sudden she couldn't catch her breath and was all sort of clausterphobic. I would try to get her to just go outside with me. Just out the front door. Change her scenery. But it was like she couldn't. It was very frusterating to watch and not be able to help. All she wanted was Wellbutrin but didn't have insurance. When our lease ended she moved south. I hope she's gotten help. That seemed really awful to go through.
No, but I also don't agree w/ the wacka-doo part. I definitely think they are very real.
I don't get panicky, but I get anxious and overwhelmed sometimes.

Then maybe you need to see a therapist. No one should live like that - esp. since your life is seemingly "normal."
