An indoor/outdoor fabric question

How easy is this type of fabric to clean?
Our new kitchen chairs are upholstered in a light beige fabric and it stains easily. I'm hoping to get something easy to spot clean with soap and water.

I think it is supposed to be pretty easy to clean.
I've seen designers use it on tv and gush over how easy it is to practically wipe off spills. One time Candace Olson poured water or something on a sofa covered with an indoor outdoor fabric, to show how resistant to spills it would be.
