im still so.tired. this week is killing me. i want to sleep for 14 hours. then live can continue. what the eff.
already hot and humid out this morning. doesn't bother me in the slightest--work in AC, have AC in my car, go to the gym with AC, and then go home. While our house is not ACd, we have been keeping it shut down, windows all shut, blinds drawn, etc. And fans cranking! It is hotter than normal, but it is livable. We have been sleeping fine, what with the three giant fans pointing at us from every angle 
My GERD has been acting up, which has been just lovely, thank you. Everything I eat tastes bitter. Makes me not want to eat (yay!) but I still do because I need the energy for running. But it all tastes like crap. Lovely.
Other than that, just busy at work, hopefully I will get a nice good (treadmill) run in today. Then BBQ so as to not heat up the house any more than necessary.

An interesting fact for those who are not my FB friend that I learned last night at trivia. A pigs penis is a corkscrew shape. I'm not really sure why this isn't general knowledge.
I really need to do work today. After my appointment yesterday I didn't really feel like doing much work. Thankfully alot of it is copying for packets that need to be put together tomorrow so I can still be productive yet slack at the same time.

Finally have the AC up and running at work!!! yay!!!!!!
Have ultrasound at 10:30 today. excited about that!!! Haven't "seen" little peanut since 7 weeks, so I'm hoping it looks more like a baby this time.
ugh, I wish this was a weekend where we didn't have anything to do. J's step-sister is getting married saturday and J is in the wedding, so that means we're busy friday night and saturday all day.
HOWEVER, Step SIL hasn't been communicating ANYTHING to people in the wedding. We just found out monday about a rehearsal and the location. Still don't know about any times for Saturday yet. (Other than what time the ceremony starts). FIL called me monday and said "this is nothing like your wedding. You were on top of it and had everything typed up for us so we had no excuse not to know where we needed to be and when." That made my organized, slightly obsessed self smile.
Hello. Battling the heat wave for the next few days. Grateful to be inside with the AC all day. Considered shutting my kitty cat in the basement for the day where it's much cooler with a fan and her water but she's smart enough to go down there if she gets really hot.
Today at work we're having a pizza party in celebration of the Department Director being on vacation all week. It's been a nice break to say the least. Little does she know if I get good news about the position I interviewed for this week, I'll be giving her my notice soon after she gets back!
Feeling better today than yesterday which is good. The boots I ordered from Steve Madden are scheduled for delivery today! (They have great sales on boots in the summer and I'll save them to wear in the fall/winter).
Oh, and should be hearing from my breeder any day now about the puppies being born so I can schedule a meeting with her soon to actually see them and pick one out! The momma had an ultrasound which confirmed there are three, possibly four puppies in this litter. Can't wait to see what they look like, coloring, etc.
That's about it!
I feel completely disgusting right now. Still no AC. It was 89 in my house when I went to bed last night. Even with 3 fans on us, it was pretty unbearable. This morning it was still 87 and humid as crap. I got out of the shower and couldn't even dry off. Ughhhhh.
I'm being stubborn and in a standoff with K right now over getting the AC fixed. I have asked him for the past 3 effing days to call a repairman to get them out to the house to fix it and he still hasn't. I know it's stupid, but it pisses me off that he's too lazy to call, so I'm not going to call either.
I'm actually happy to be at work today to take advantage of the AC and since my boss is out for her wedding, I can kinda (ok, who am I kidding, totally) slack.
HATE. our house does not have AC and we have a hard time during heat waves like this, but we are not as hot or humid as you. The worst though is taking a shower and sweating as soon as you get out and being all sweaty and gross again. it is the WORST.

Morning ladies. Eek for everyone without AC in this miserable weather right now. I sweat at the drop of a hat and hate sweating so no A/C = one miserable, sweating lady right here.
I'm going in today so I'll be off tomorrow (unless I get called in) but hopefully that won't happen. Next week is the last week of "summer" and I'll go back to the schools. I'm excited about getting 40 hour work week checks again!
I've got J back home now and we're in a funk. He's depressed because he's not able to do everything he WANTS to do and I'm just glad he's alive. The next 6 weeks are going to be fun if he's like this the whole time. He did cut the front yard yesterday and I about beat him when I walked in the door. I told him he's not to touch the lawn mower again and I'll cut the backyard tonight.
Hoping we'll go to the gym tonight (he'll walk on the treadmill) because I have to lose some weight. I'm ridiculous right now.
Morning ladies. I posted on FB last night that at 11pm our regular temp was 86 and our heat index was still 94. ICK. I think I would be melting without our air.
Today I am going into town to run some errands and to drop a resume off for a receptionist position. We'll see if anything comes of it. Wish me luck! Hoping something comes up soon... I hate to run out of money in the summer, so I keep putting off going grocery shopping and such.
I guess I should head out so I look somewhat punctual by getting there before lunchtime... Probably wont be around a whole lot during the day today, so hope everyone has a good one!
My heart goes out to you girls with AC. It sounds absolutely awful. I grew up pretty close to the equator and lemme tell you. It NEVER got as hot there as it is here. It's the humidity and the stagnant air. Unbearable.
Today, I'm attempting to work a full 10 hours. I figure if I aim for that, I'll probably get a solid 5 in.
Also...Xtine - a duck's penis is corkscrew shaped too. Wish I didn't know, but I do. And feline penises are covered in barbs.
