How is everyone today? Hot enough for you? They're now expecting it to get up to 49?C w/ the humidity today. That's 120?F. This is Canada people! Where's my snow?
We're in the process of getting a new furnace and have a central a/c installed, but sadly it just couldn't happen for today. Today the HVAC guy is going over to the house to figure out what we need, tomorrow someone is coming to do an energy audit on the house (so we can get a rebate on the furnace) and hopefully the HVAC guy will be able to get the A/C in before the end of the weekend. We shall see.
Tonight, we're hanging out at the mall! ("Let's go to the mallllllllll!!")

Good morning! This will just be a quick check in for me as I'm about to head to a meeting out of town. I'll be gone most of the day. It will be nice to be out of the office but I'm expecting that the meeting will be pretty boring. And, I'm only there to observe, not to actually participate in anything. Blah.
Tonight I'm hoping to book our plane tickets for the wedding we're going to in September. I'll also be sending in all of my vacation requests for the next several months. I'm so excited to be taking some time off!

Yeah I think we're all in Hades right now. I really want to go for a walk but there's no way I'm doing that today it's far to hot. If it wasn't so humid it'd be much more tolerable.
I will however be calling my seamstress for a BM dress I have to wear in a wedding that's happening in 22 days (oops I totally forgot about it). I ordered the dress in hopes of being pregnant again, in hindsight that was real dumb,
SOOOO hot. That's all I'll say about that.
We are staying inside today with the baby, other than a quick trip to the midwives office for a check up. I can't even keep the AC too high because Noah hates being cold and loves being warm - which means the rest of us are sweating like crazy even in the house!
We have finally settled a bit and I'm healing from my episiotomy now, so I'll definitely be around here more often.

Good morning! Way too hot. I have a 10 minute walk from the Metro to my office nowadays. When I get here, I'm steaming. I should really consider taking the company shuttle tomorrow.
Last night was good--we had our dinner, then went to see HP. And . . . I'm not feeling part two. I'd like to see BBC or HBO adapt the books into a miniseries at some point (or they should work together, like they did with Rome). To quote Voldie in the fourth movie, I confess myself disappointed.
Today the plan is to keep cool, call my family and then get to bed early.

We're cooling off some - currently 65* heading for a high of 88*. 60s at night is nice.
We're starting a Habitat for Humanity house this week, and I'm going to work on it tomorrow. We're framing, and I'm very excited about it. But that means a long day today to be able to have tomorrow out of the office.

Last night was low key. I went home and jumped in the sprinkler which was amazing. DH and I bummed around the house and then I went to bed fairly early.
Tonight, I hope to get a few things done around the house and hopefully DH can mow. We really need to get it done but had to put it off since it has been so hot.

This weather is just ridiculous. It already feels like it's 100* outside and it's actually going to be 100* and feel like 115*. I don't want to do anything other than lay around in my underwear. Sadly, that is not work appropriate, so I'll have do something else until I can get home.
I don't know what I was thinking when I made the meal plan for this week because I planned to do pasta with Italian sausage tonight for dinner. I may have to rethink that plan - that's just so heavy. Uggh.

Last night was relaxing. I gave DH a picture I framed from our trip way back in March. I feel bad for not being more on top of it. I also worked on our blurb photo album book from our trip. My BIL and Grandpa's album has inspired me to get to work on it. It's looking good. Last night Dh and I went on a walk. He's getting on the I want to be healthy to boat. So we went for a walk and ended up going 6 miles. I hope today to get my run in and then go walking with him.
I also need to pack. I leave for Michigan tomorrow and need to get a move on.

Last night was pretty uneventful. J went over to his friends house to help him work on his car, so I got in a really good workout and then I watched It's Complicated on DVD. J didn't get home until almost 9:00 and brought me Burger King for dinner -- so much for my good workout!
Tonight I have a happy hour event for the young professionals organization, then I'm meeting up with some coworkers to go to the Goodwill and get some Caddy Shack costume stuff for our upcoming golf tournaments.
Morning! I'm hoping today is better than yesterday. That really shouldn't be much to ask.
As for the ladies with the heatwave - feel free to usher that our way.
Good morning.
This morning I had to get up early again to take the truck to Ford to get a new clockspring. Apparently, there was a recall notice and the airbags could have gone off at any given moment. When Russ hit a moose, it pushed the whole front end of the truck into the windshield and the airbags didn't go off at all! That took a whole 15 minutes and about an hour and a half of driving. The rest of the day I'm just cleaning and then hopefully taking the kids to a spray park.
I'm so excited for stuffed chicken and zucchini for supper tonight. That's gonna be the highlight of my day
Good morning all. Last night was pretty uneventful other than we got a huge bill which was a mistake (insurance had bill incorrectly!) we got that corrected first thing this morning. Whew!
Tonight is grocery shopping and getting ready for camping with my sisters this weekend. I'm excited to go tubing down a nice cool river to get out of this heat.
Also, for anyone else who didn't see in the other post, we are having a girl! Let the shopping commence! Have a good day ladies! Stay cool....
Evening! I had a good day today. Ran early before it got hot, then spent the day at school--most of the day in the a/c, and the rest setting up my room which is now just about done!
Oh...and AF showed up today so we are officially TTC again! YAY!
