1. Are you afraid of flying? Not really, but I don't love it.
2. Favorite pair of shoes you own (heels, athletic shoes, comfy shoes...anything!): Right now? I hate shoes.
3. What color are your finger/toe nails? My fingernails are red (but need to be repainted) and my toes are patriotic red, white and blue (I got them done before the 4th and they're still looking good)
4. Last time you went to the doctor? What for (unless you'd rather not share)? Well, I saw my midwife yesterday but she's not a doctor. Before that I saw a doctor for my VBAC consult... but he's not MY doctor. Before that I saw my doctor for shingles on my neck when I was about 10 weeks pregnant. That was a bummer.
5. What kind of mood are you in today? Pretty good! Got to see baby at an u/s this morning
1. Are you afraid of flying? I used to be...not anymore. I'm just not a big fan of it though - I tend to get airsick.
2. Favorite pair of shoes you own (heels, athletic shoes, comfy shoes...anything!): I bought this ivory pair of shoes for a wedding I was in this spring. They are SO cute.
3. What color are your finger/toe nails? Nails and toes are both French manicure. I need to re-do my toes, though.
4. Last time you went to the doctor? What for (unless you'd rather not share)? I saw my doctor about 1.5 weeks ago for this gallbladder thing I've got going on.
5. What kind of mood are you in today? I'm in a pretty good mood. Today's my Friday, which is awesome.
1. Are you afraid of flying? Not really, I just don't care for it. I tend to get sick.
2. Favorite pair of shoes you own (heels, athletic shoes, comfy shoes...anything!): I just bought a pair of Nike Free Runs and they are so freaking comfortable.

4. Last time you went to the doctor? What for (unless you'd rather not share)? Last month, I had a follow up appt from surgery I had 3 weeks before that.
5. What kind of mood are you in today? Pretty good, although I feel it fading fast because my coworker is driving me freaking insane!!!

Nope. Knowing just what that autopilot is capable of helps in this area. Except when flying over open seas at night. Completely irrational, but that one gets me for some reason.

I love me some CFM heels, but really, I'd wear flip flops 90% of the time if I could.

Both are bare. I need a manicure like woah, but pedicures are pointless if you're running a half marathon each month (this weekend will make 4 months straight) since it would be destroyed pretty soon anyhow.

I went like a week ago because I got pink eye. Stupid kids and their stupid germs. I spent some time at doctor's offices this week though, since my kiddo got his tonsils/adenoids removed.

Distracted. I'm hurting in the motivation and focus areas.

4. Last time you went to the doctor? What for (unless you'd rather not share)? Last Friday for a bladder infection. All better though!
5. What kind of mood are you in today? I'm in a wish-it-was-Friday-at-5-already kind of mood.
1. Are you afraid of flying? Not really. I just try not to think about it too much or else I'll play the "what if" game and freak myself out (hence this poll to keep my mind off of flying to Colorado this evening)

5. What kind of mood are you in today? I'm in a super good mood! I woke up early and went on my run (since I skipped it last night) and it was awesome. I never, ever thought I'd enjoy running that early in the morning. And we leave for vacation today!

1. Are you afraid of flying? No. I love it. Although, I do get a little nervous when we hit turbulence.
2. Favorite pair of shoes you own (heels, athletic shoes, comfy shoes...anything!): I would love to say a pair of fancy heels or something... but, since I don't own anything fancier than cowboy boots, I'm going with my New Balance tennis shoes.
3. What color are your finger/toe nails? Mint Sprint - it's a green/teal-ish color that I've fallen in love with.

1. Are you afraid of flying? I don't enjoy it as much as I used to, but I try to bring enough stuff to keep my mind occupied... iPad, iPod, books, candy. The older I get and the more I fly, I tend to enjoy it less and less. And don't get me started on international flights.
2. Favorite pair of shoes you own (heels, athletic shoes, comfy shoes...anything!): I have a really cute pair of brown sparkly espadrilles... and I don't think I've hardly even worn them this summer. Hmmm.. I might have to pull those out this weekend.
3. What color are your finger/toe nails? My finger nails are a pale lavendar and toes are red. I'm having some envy right now on Sephora's ad for those cherry blossom nails...
4. Last time you went to the doctor? What for (unless you'd rather not share)? I went to the eye doctor about three months ago. I'm debating about whether to go back because I recently noticed a dark floater in one of my eyes that seems to come and go.
5. What kind of mood are you in today? I feel relieved and excited for the weekend. This has been a busy week and I have a lot of projects due tomorrow, but I finally got all of them started yesterday so hopefully I won't have to work late tomorrow. I'm also looking forward to finally having one weekend at home after being gone on several out-of-town trips the past few weeks.
1. Are you afraid of flying? No. It makes me much more nervous to be in heavy traffic on the highway than to fly.

4. Last time you went to the doctor? What for (unless you'd rather not share)? A couple of weeks ago, I went to my new oral surgeon for a wisdom teeth consultation. Going back tomorrow to have them taken out. Yikes! (Has anyone else had this done as an adult? Any advice?)
5. What kind of mood are you in today? Honestly, I'm pretty cranky. Between my impending surgery, PMS, and a broken a/c, it's pretty tough to be cheerful.

I had my wisdom teeth removed as an adult and it was no big deal. I gave a presentation (school) the same day and went back to work the next day I think. I don't do prescription pain meds for the most part though, so if you do, you may be out of commission a bit longer. I did think it was a good idea to eat broccoli rice casserole the first day or two because you don't have to chew it a lot. It was not.
1. YES. The first time I ever flew the plane was struck by lightening. I'm pretty sure that sealed the deal for me.

4. Last week when I gave birth in the hospital. I'm guessing that counts.
5. Pretty chill. I've got a sleeping newborn laying on me. Hard to be sad or stressed with that going on.
Oh, good luck! I had them done when I was 19. I think most people bounce back just fine, but I didn't. So just don't be surprised if you're not miss perky for a few days. I know I was frustrated by everyone's stories of only taking a day of work or school.

@WendyToo @lizzyb - I've heard such wildy-varying stories, I don't know what to expect. I guess it's just different for everyone. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

4. Last time you went to the doctor? In May What for (unless you'd rather not share)? I was itching 24/7 and had hives. Never did get a diagnosis, just some awesome anti-itch pills.
5. What kind of mood are you in today? Umm...I'm not really sure. I would say "blah" but that seems sad, and I'm definitely not sad. Maybe "unmotivated." I do not want to be at work, have tomorrow off, and can't wait to get home and just relax for the evening!
