I am the youngest person in my office ( and I"m 28 ) a lot of the older ladies ( 45-55 years old ) are all appalled that I do not wear pantyhose/knee highs with closed toe dress shoes.

So - if you are wearing closed toe shoes/pumps/flats -- do you wear footies or anything ?

I usually only wear hose in the winter, and that's only if I wear a skirt and that almost never happens.

I do if it is about 40-50 degrees and under and i am wearing a dress or skirt- IF I am not wearing tights instead (like black tights or brown or something).

With pants, I rarely ever do.

Never. In the winter I wear tights or tall boots with skirts. I never wear hose with pants. If I had to wear a suit then I might wear hose, but I rarely have to wear a suit.

When I'm wearing closed toed shoes with dress pants I wear knee highs. I can't wear shoes without socks or knee highs unless they are sandals. If he!! freezes over and I'm wearing a skirt or dress to work when it's cold I'll wear pantyhose.

I don't even own a pair of pantyhose anymore - and I can't remember the last time I wore a pair. So...yeah. I never wear them.

Haha! I don't own a pair of pantyhose either! I hate wearing them anyway. It seem like everytime I buy a pair, I get runs in them after only wearing them once! My mom wears them all the time in the winter, and they never get runs in them. She pays a lot more for them then I will!! In the winter, I do wear knee highs with dress pants. I rarely wear dresses or skirts in the winter.

i HATE having bare feet in closed toed shoes, i hate the way my feet sweat and the shoes sometimes get stinky. i always wear knee highs in summer with pants and closed toe shoes and in winter i wear trouser socks or knee highs with pants. in winter i usually wear pantyhose too, and soemtimes in summer if i am appearing in court.

I will wear knee highs if I'm wearing pants and close toed shoes. Once in a blue moon, if it's cold and I'm wearing a skirt, and not tights, I will wear nylons. I feel like they are a little too much work for my workplace. And I always end up tearing a hole in them at some point during the day.

I never wear panty hose with pants, only dresses/skirts which is pretty rare. With pants I always wear knee highs with closed toe shoes because bare feet in closed shoes skeeves me out. In the winter I have knee high cashmere socks (thanks mom!) that wear pretty much 5 days a week.

I wear tights when it's cold if I'm semi-dressed up (or better). If I'm really dressed up, and it's not cold, I'll wear thigh highs.

If I'm wearing a skirt or dress and sandals, no pantyhose. If I'm wearing closed shoes, yes pantyhose. With pants and closed heels (don't laugh at me), it's knee highs. I hate the feel of my bare feet in closed shoes, except Keds, which I wear with no socks or laces.
