Apart from recovering from a summer cold, I am really, really good!
I finally quit the job that I hate. I've vented to you guys about my terrible boss on a number of occasions and now that I have another, better offer, my last day is next week! Yay!
Plus, my birthday's next week, so double yay!

All is good here. My LO is keeping me really busy. He is getting into everything and really learning soo much.
I also just found out that my cousin is coming to visit over Labor Day weekend. Im soo excited and cant wait.
I'm just so tired! Between our trip to NOLA, moving, and now trying to get things settled, I'm exhausted! To top of it off, we are trying to get Liam to sleep in his crib...it is going semi-successfully, but last night was a rough one.
Other than that, life is good!

Things are good. While we have been searching for houses online, doing drive-bys, and going to open houses, we never started our official search--it begins today. School starts in a month, and I'm dreading that. Otherwise, we're just trying to enjoy ourselves until then.
MY BLOG!
Scary busy. I've been training with a coach the last few months,and taking my cycling to the Next Level. Training nearly 2 hours a day before work, and juggling everything else, including New Dog. DH is on summer vacay, so in my free time, I'm trying to hang out with him. It's really been nutty, but will be totally worth it.
The LIVESTRONG ride a couple weeks back was supposed to be my first 100 miles, but due to life,I could only do the 70. Next stop? The Tour d'Organics, which will be 60 miles- all the stops are filled with food from local farms. After that, Tour of Napa, where once again, I will aim to climb 3000+ feet, and finish 100 miles. Some days, it seems really, really dumb. The time suck is huge.
I'm on FB all the time (the fleeting remains of my social life) feel free to hang out with me there!
Hot, tired, crabby. Stuff is breaking in the house...of course it would be right after we blow a big wad of money on the floors and paint. It's been 6 years since my husband has been traveling 5 days a week...and it's getting to me...and knowing that there is nothing I can do about it doesn't seem to help. He's 55 and we need the paycheck and the health insurance.
I'll take some cheese with that whine.....

That sounds like a lot of fun, karma! A lot of work, of course, but a lot of fun too (especially Napa and the farmers' markets).

We're doing well- nothing new or exciting to report, just trying to relax and enjoy the very busy summer.
I just got back from vacation! My cousin and I drove to Newfoundland through the States. We passed through 11 states! It was so much fun. Other then that it seems I have been steadily putting weight back on ha. I need to get back on the wagon with fitness but summer is tough for me. Beer, ice cream and BBQ...wow, so much good food.
