So I was risking going to collections because I couldn't agree to pay their super high monthly payment...well after about 100 phone calls yesterday and today crying, angry, and on the verge of a break down I finally got a manager. She got to her manager that is going to give me the 12 months to pay it off as long as I stay close to my "budget" monthly amount. So basically I have to average or come close to it every few months. Which will not be a problem. So annoying because I had credits with Coventry and they should have sent to one of my bills without telling me, I wish I would have had some say I would have had them send it to these people. I was seriously so worked up today with people I was breaking out in hives...
I know I can pay the bill of in probably 9-12 months on top of the others I have but the fact that they were so unwilling to work with me was really frustrating. Hopefully this lady notes the hell out of the account so it doesn't get sent on "accident".
Re: medical bill update if anyone cares
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
My experience w/ collectors (with my work) is that medical bill collectors are the worst.
The anesthesiology place in Lincoln tops it for the most unreasonable.
exactly and the fact that when I called the collection company they work with they said they will sue me and garnish my wages was the last straw. There has to be options I bet most of the people working in the bill dept couldn't go through what I did and pay everything all at once either. Oh well hopefully everything works out.
I'm thankful that for the rest of the year we have zero co-pays and get free rx's (shouldn't say free since I've met $10k) but I will not have any other additional expenses in that dept. And this is the only reason I'm okay getting KU now.
