Boyfriend's work schedule
My boyfriend travels for work. He works 10 days on and 4 days off. We just bought a home and its hard to get settled with him gone all the time. I know he needs to be on the road to make the kind of money he is. I was wondering if anyone has any ways of coping with there spouse being gone all the time? We talk everynight and text during the day, and im busy with the house and our daughter but its still hard being away from him for so long! Anything is welcome for suggestions!
Re: Boyfriend's work schedule
Coming from a fiance of a former Marine who spenf the majority of our relationship deployed or on field ops...you make it work.
Just try to make the best of the time he's home.
Make the best of when he's home but also go out an try something new or find a new jhobby. Sometimes though it can be a catch 22 when your hobby runs into your time with DH.
My H used to travel 80% for work. He was gone most weeks and would come home every other weekend at best. It was hard and sucked but I made new friends, read a lot, learned tennis and enjoyed my time alone.
