What are we going to name this baby? I wish we agreed on a name, but our baby is currently nameless. I'm not trying to keep it a secret, we really haven't picked a name. We have a list of maybe 20. We just have such different tastes. I like classic, old and biblical names. Glen likes unique/rockstar kind of names. Some on my list are Levi, Noah, Gabriel, Asher and his list is Beckett, Azrael, Memphis. I really love the name Leo, but Glen hates it.
We think we have the middle name figured out. We're thinking about Blais (pronounced "Blaze"). It's Glen's late Mother's maiden name and he really wants to honor her in some way since she died tragically and suddenly at age 42. He was really, really close with her

What's your favorite season? I love the Summer and the Fall. It's hard for me to pick. The Summer is great because of pool parties, baseball games, cute dresses, flip flops and cook outs. The fall is great too! I love camp fires and s'mores, pumpkins, and the beer flavors.

Best thing you ate this week? Last night I made some awesome tacos. I could not get enough! I also had a steak fajita salad from a local Mexican restaurant that was delicious...see a trend here?

Describe your fantasy day. I would probably describe a day much like one that I spent on my Honeymoon. Stress-free, worry-free, not watching the clock.

Other than a bed, where's the last place you had sex? The couch. We're not too exciting.

What is the first drink you plan to enjoy when the baby arrives (it better be something good)? Glen bought me Peach wine from a local winery few weeks ago and I really want to make a peach/white sangria with it. My mouth is watering.
Is the heat killing you or are you managing? I actually think I'm managing better than most. Although I do work in air conditioning, then come home to my sparkling pool and air conditioned house. My feet and ankles are pretty swollen, but I'm 38 weeks pregnant. That's to be expected. The heat isn't bothering me at all.
If you could buy any car what would it be? Hmm. This is tough. The new Audi's are pretty amazing and safe. I'm a VW/Audi girl.
Now that the baby is coming- would this car stay the same or what "family car" would you purchase (can you tell I am car shopping) I have a 2006 Scion XB (the box) that I actually really like and Glen has a 2010 Jetta. Both cars are paid in full, so we aren't looking to purchase right now. No car payment = awesome.
how many kids do you plan to have? Right now, just this little guy! Sure, in theory, I'd like to fill my entire house with babies, but in reality, I don't know what to expect from one. It may be satisfying to just have the one.
What is your favorite thing about Glen? He's good with his hands, smart, and handsome. He also makes me laugh until I nearly pee myself. I love watching him with our dog. He's so great with him. I think he's going to be a fantastic Dad.
What is his most annoying habit? Sometimes Glen is unmotivated and irresponsible. It can be frustrating and make my life a little challenging.
Just this week I had asked him if the Nationwide Insurance payments have gone through and he said "they should". He never actually checked after he set them up for automatic payment. So guess what? They didn't go through for June or July and Nationwide canceled our insurance. We were driving around uninsured. It didn't even occur to him to double check that stuff.
What is your best quality? My best quality? Most people say my positivity. My friends know that I've been through a lot in my life and I never make excuses for why I am the way I am because of it and I try to stay very positive.
What is your most annoying habit? I never stop! I'm always doing something. A craft, cleaning, cooking, etc. It's hard for me to sit down at all until I'm ready for bed. I think it drives Glen crazy.
Would you go back to college and change anything? Yes. I would go back for Dental Hygiene instead of majoring in English. I would also have gotten into photography in college instead of just two years ago.
Do you love your career or would you change it? I do love it. I work in HR. I love my staff and I love that every day is different. I really love helping people. I oversee payroll and benefits and I sometimes do recruitment. It feels so good to research benefit plans that will help a family. It feels good to offer someone a job who has been struggling in the economy. So many things are rewarding about me job.
Is there any foods you cannot live without currently? Fruit. Have to have it every day. Also, I'm in love with my DD refill cup. I get Decaf ice coffee almost every day.

Here's a question: What's the naughtiest thing you've ever done? Hmm. I'm not really naughty. I guess that I was sexually experimental in the past. Let's just say that I could put Nooner's toy collection to shame and I had EVERYTHING. I also used to smoke weed in the car A LOT in college, when driving on my way home from work or class. I haven't done any drugs in probably 9 years. I've changed a lot.

What is your favorite room in your home and why? The nursery. It's beautiful and it makes me feel really happy when I sit in there. I will go in and read or just hang out in there for no reason. Once my basement is finished, I'm sure I'll love spending time down there.

What is your favorite holiday? Halloween. I love costumes and horror movies. I like creative costumes though, not slutty costumes.

What has been your favorite drink this summer? Peach and White cranberry juice, Sprite Zero with fruit (blueberries, Strawberries, Orange slices and Raspberries or cherries). I also love homemade lemonade, but it's a pain in the butt to make.

Where is your favorite place to shop for clothes (when not pregnant)? NY&Co & Loft. Both stores have styles that are very versatile. I can wear them to work or dress them down and wear them out.

Where is your favorite vacation spot? Punta Cana, DR. This is where we went on our Honeymoon. I would go back there and to that same resort (Exellence) in a heart beat!

If you could go anywhere on a trip, where would you go? I would go to California and see one of my best friends and my Sister. I haven't seen either of them since my wedding and I miss them both.

Where is your favorite place to eat? Around here? I love Miso (sushi) and Bangkok Wok (Thai). We are trying that new Thai place that you recommended this weekend.

What is your favorite food? I love Asian food! Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Malaysian, etc.

Would you own a pool at your next house? That's up for debate. On days like today, it's nice to go home to a pool (105 in PA). However, it's very expensive and it's a lot of upkeep. It wouldn't be a deal breaker if I love the rest of the house. However, I definitely would want a garage, fence and deck or patio. I don't think I could live without those things.

I'm really looking forward to showing our son the world. Everything we do will shape his life; his memories, his experiences. I think it will be a joy in watching him grow into a beautiful person. I'm really looking forward to being a mother.

I have a lot of fears. I'm not really afraid of labor, but I'm afraid of what's to come after labor. Everything will be an adjustment and a learning opportunity. I'll most likely fail before I succeed and this scares me. I'll be honest, breastfeeding scares me, even though I really want to do it. SIDS scares me, PPD scares me, heck, even changing a diaper scares me! This is all new and the unknown is scary.

What are YOU looking forward to having a son? Everything! Glen is very talented and I'm hoping that he will get the baby into music and cars very early on. However, if he isn't into that stuff, we will support any activity that he is interested in. I'm looking forward to having a little boy that can be a little boy, but also be interested in things that I enjoy, like cooking and reading. Also, boy clothes are super cute and I love to play dress up!

What has been your favorite part of pregnancy? Just knowing that I have a little person growing inside of me and that I'm providing everything he needs to thrive. It's strangely empowering.

Are you planning to do a newborn shoot (your maternity shots are lovely by the way)? Do you have any specific ideas in mind? Yes! I'm going to do my own newborn shoot. I have an adorable lion hat that I can't wait to use! (Baby will be a LEO). I have some cute ideas, like baby in Glen's guitar case/baby on Glen's grandfather's guitar (which is really sentimental to Glen), baby laying in a baseball glove with a baseball.

I've adapted just fine to getting bigger. I guess it's best to just remind yourself that it's only temporary and that it's happening for a reason. Plus, the bigger you are, the more people spoil you! I am getting pretty big now. My clothes (maternity shirts) hardly fit and my feet and ankles are huge. Towards the end, you just aren't cute anymore, but it's totally ok, because the excitement of meeting your baby makes you forget all of the bad stuff.

What nuggets of knowledge do you have for someone a few months behind you? Just to try and stay positive and ENJOY your pregnancy. You are allowed to complain once in a while. Pregnancy is hard for everyone and some days are going to be difficult. But try to stay optimistic and remember that you're meant to do this. Everything that you go through, good, bad or horrible, will result in such a beautiful thing. My advice is not to rush pregnancy. I know you want to get to the end, but being pregnant in itself is a lovely miracle that you only get to experience for a shirt time in your life. Embrace it.

Do you foresee Glen teaching him how to play guitar as soon as he can hold one? Absolutely! Glen will probably have him in guitar lessons by age 4. Music is a huge part of our lives and we hope to pass that along to the baby as well.

Have you read any good books? I just re-read the Deathly Hallows. I'm nervous to see the movie because the book is so deep and emotional.

What is your favorite song right now? Hmmm. I've been listening to soft rock lately so I'm really into anything sentimental. I'm at a happy time in my life and anything can set me off into happy tears.

I also really like that new Lady Gaga song

What perfume do you use right now? If I use any, it's Marc Jacobs Daisy. I roll it on my wrists.

What is your favorite pastime? Cooking & Photography

What are some of your fears when it comes to labor/childbirth? The unexpected/unknown. I'm really hoping to go into labor naturally, but that may be unrealistic. I'm hoping that I don't have to have a C-section or have labor induced. That's a big fear but if it comes to that, I'll do what's best for me and the baby I'm also nervous about the baby meeting the world for the first time. I'm afraid that maybe he will be in distress or something like that.

Do you have a favorite quote? I love a lot of quotes from the movie, The Notebook. We had some incorporated into our wedding. It's a beautiful story (yet very sad) and a great movie.

Besides a name, are you overall ready for baby? Absolutely! We are finishing the nursery this week! I'll PIP once it's complete. Car seat is installed and we're all stocked up on everything that I can think to have on hand. I also just got my bravado nursing tops in the mail and I'm pretty excited about that! I can't wait to meet him, but I'm ready for him to arrive once he's ready.
