Need 95 stop over/ rest area advice

Hi everyone. I am in MD today and tomorrow. My mom is in DE and taking care of my daughter for a couple nights. Tomorrow, she is bringing her down to me and I am going to meet her somewhere (north of Baltimore) and then bring her down with me to see some old friends in Columbia, MD.

We were going to meet at the Maryland House rest stop but now I'm concerned that I can't turn around and go southbound there. Anyone know if this rest stop allows you to go south after arriving on the north-bound side? Or, anyone know of any other stops that are right off the highway where we can hand off my daughter and get back on the highway either direction?

TIA!

  • I feel like I should refuse to help since you are going to be in my 'hood and didn't even give me a chance to have a little GTG.

But anyway, Maryland House will work fine.  You can get on and off in both directions there.

  • Ditto pp, you can easily get on and off at the MD House, that's where we always meet for dog transports because it's really easy to navigate around.
  • NDM - thanks. My next stop was the Pets board cuz I knew any DC transport people would know.

Wawa! I know - we are only here yesterday and today and having a "retreat" in National Harbor and I dunno how to get anywhere else. PS - why is it so hot here? jeez....

  • Lurker here but couldn't help but wave as you drive past!  You can also do an easy on/off at exit 89 at HdG.  There's a park and ride right off the exit.
