petite but top heavy - best suit jacket?
Hello 9-5''ers!
I need to get a new suit. I usually buy from Express or Limited, but their jackets just don't fit me well anymore. I sholdl be wearing a 2 or 4, but I have a big chest so it doesn't look right. Anyone else in the same boat??
Thanks!

I'm petite and top heavy (32DD), Banana republic, CK and Ann Klein jackets fit me great. I've never had jackets from Express or Limited so I don't know how they compare. I do go with 2 to 3 button jackets, the one button ones are not flattering on me because usually the bottom of the jacket is not balanced with the top so it doesn't stay flat or straight (I hope this makes sense).
Check out your local Nordstrom RAC , Marshall or Ross. I've gotten CK and Ann Klein jackets for as low as $35 dollars (originally $120-150).
Banana Republic often has 40% off promotion going on too.
hope that helps.
Ditto this...I can go up in sizes...and it doesn't end up adding too much length to the sleeves or jacket.
