Rockville rec for maxi dress
AARRGGHH!!! I did NOT think it would be this hard to find a maxi dress I like.
Tomorrow I'm headed to Rockville and am on the prowl for a maxi dress. I plan to hit Montgomery and White Flint Malls and then work my way up the usual suspects (Last Call, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc.). Anyone loving they're recently-purchased-so-BCP-can-still-find-it maxi dress.
Looking for:
- Halter or straps - tube tops and strapless give me weird 4 boob or aren't tight enough.
- prefer jersey or some other stretch fabric but open to anything EXCEPT the shiny, spandex feeling stuff.
- prefer empire waist
- MUST be full skirted (or at least not fitted through my 'ample' butt/thighs)
- Open to patterns but tend to lean toward solids
- "secure feeling" top. I'm a strong B cup so a bra isn't always necessary unless my "nipple poke" would be obvious. But don't like tops that gape or I'm always worried about slippage.
Prefer to stay in the $25-$50 range but will go for a $100 max if it's one I love.
