breastmilk bottle Q

If we take a bottle out of the refrigerator to warm it up (in hot water), but DS falls asleep before starting to eat it, how long is that bottle "good" for?  Does the 5(ish)-hour at room temperature rule still apply, or is it a totally different category now that it's been cooled and rewarmed?

Re: breastmilk bottle Q

  • I think if you warm and it sits for 4 hours it is OK but you can't rewarm it...

At daycare Abe will sometimes take a half a bottle and then will finish the rest later.
