Re: Disney ladies - Epcot Food&Wine fest

  • i've never been myself, but i heard its good. Crowded but good. and if u like disney and wine... hey cant get any better!!

im going to disney in 58 days =)

Enjoying parenthood after 3 1/2 long years of trying...
  • We happened to be honeymooning during the festival and didn't know it until we checked in.  I would definitely make dinner reservations now because it was impossible to find anything at check in.  We are not big drinkers but it looked like people were having a great time.

We're going in Oct for our first time to F&W.  If you look online a bit you can see the menus of the foods/drinks they had last year.  I've heard Saturdays are crazy busy with locals but that it's nice otherwise.  I'm excited to check it out :)  We're also going to do the Halloween party so we have 2 new things to try this trip!
  • Thanks for the tips!  I think we'll check it out why not.

RB - the Halloween party sounds fun too!!  I found cheap tickets to FL so we're going to Cocoa Beach for a long weekend for my birthday in the beginning of Oct.  I just took your advice and looked up menu from last year and pics and it looks good!  Seems right up our alley.

Fun!  We're going mid-October.  Growing up my family always went the beginning of December and then N and I have gone twice in April so this is my first fall trip!  Last December was FREEZING when we went so we wanted to find a new time of year :)
  • Big Disney person here.  Staying at the Boardwalk for 5 nights around Labor Day and then straight to a conference at Coronado Springs. I always miss Food and Wine, but my parents have been.  They enjoyed it. They did say that the tastings were $$$$ and very tiny portions.

It didn't look too bad but I'm sure it adds up since there are so many booths and tiny portions make it possible to hit up more booths which is a good thing in my opinion!
