Sorry I'm late, I'm at home! The HVAC guy (and my step dad) should be here shortly, and then the energy audit guy will be here shortly after that! Yay for (maybe) getting an a/c!
The heat isn't as bad today, but it's still pretty darned brutal. We need some rain!!
As I said earlier in the week this weekend I'm playing in a baseball tournament. Should be interesting. Sunday Derek is planning on going on his first big bike ride with Tim on their new bikes. I'm sure he'll be walking strange after that.

This week has been crazy and I don't think today is going to be any different.
This weekend B and I are doing a bottle drive fundraiser to send kids to camp, so hopefully that goes well as B has been working so hard to get these things together. On Sunday evening we are going to a friends place for dinner, that should be fun. Other than that we don't really have plans for this weekend. B wants to go so Captain America on Saturday, not sure how I feel about going to that yet.

Kyle woke up this morning to our freezer-trailer at room temperature (which is not good when room temperature in the garage was probably 80). We keep most of the meat in regular deep freezers but have probably a 50lb bag of filet mignon and 40lb bag of New York strip steaks that were completely defrosted. Something broke during the night but we have no idea what it is yet or if it is something fixable. We're supposed to go to the farmer's market tomorrow morning, but at this point we don't know if we'll be able to go. I'm hoping that it's a simple (and cheap) fix and that it will be back up and running by tonight.
So my weekend plans are definitely still up in the air. Sunday will probably be the usual housework and laundry day, but otherwise, we'll be playing the weekend by ear.
Yay Friday. I cannot wait to sleep in a little this weekend and get some things done around the house.
Last night we had an impromptu date night and tried out a local place with great food and live music.
Tonight, we don't really have any plans so we'll see. There is a big festival where we live this weekend so we may head to that for a bit tonight.
The rest of the weekend will be spent around the house getting things done and errands. Hoping to meet up with some friends we haven't seen as well.

I'm excited. I leave for Michigan in a few hours. I'm excited to see my grandparents and other extended family I haven't seen in a long time. It will also be the first time Dh get's to meet all of them. I'm a little nervous. My extended family is a bit like the family in My Big Fat Greek Wedding except it's Polish. His family is very quiet so It might be a bit crazy for him.
Saturday is the party, and Sunday I hope to go out to brunch with my Mom's side of the family. My cousin had Twins last year and I have only got to see them once.
Good morning! Holy moly, was the our apartment a sauna last night! With the a/c working overtime, I think we got it down to 33?. Curse living on the top floor!
Anyway, I've got to go pick up my bridesmaid dress today, write up a couple of assignments for my course, return some pants to the store, and then get started on the cleaning process for before we leave for BC and Hawaii on Thursday! It's going to be busy 6 days.

Yay for Friday. It's supposed to be over 100* today with a heat index of somewhere near 120*, so I think I will got directly to the pool when I get home again tonight. The last half hour they are open for adults only, so I was able to swim some laps last night. It was heavenly.
Other than the normal errands and whatnot, I don't think we have any plans for this weekend. The house needs a serious deep cleaning, so maybe that's what I'll do. It's going to be too hot to do much of anything anyway.

Hi ladies,
Today we're doing a family dinner at our favorite indian restaurant because my big sister is in town. This weekend we have an engagement party to attend, and a graduation party. Also today is Myles' due date so he is officially Zero, and on Sunday he's 1 month old. (I'm going by the day not the weeks
)
I'm hoping the weather cools enough for us to take a walk as a family at night, we think it'd be good for Sully, and us.
Ugh...it is like breathing soup here. I did a three mile run on the treadmill this morning with the fan on me in the basement and it was less miserable than expected, but still not pretty.
We have lots of options this weekend, but haven't committed to anything. We were invited to go to a brew fest/BBQ festival tomorrow, which we will probably do for a bit. We were also invited to a BBQ on Sunday afternoon. We want to go and see Harry Potter this weekend as well in the IMAX. Honestly, with the weather so hot, I think I am most interested in being anti-social and just going to the movies with DH! We'll see what happens!

Good Morning!
I am excited about the weekend. Tonight DH is working so its just me and the kids.I have a yummy supper planned hopefully it will be done before DH leaves. I am hoping to get finished with my book tonight.
Tomorrow we have a birthday party at 10am for my little cousin who is turning 3. They are having a water slide and since I plan on renting one for preston's party. I am hoping to get some tips and see if it is really worth it. It was my grandmothers birthday yesterday so I am planning a visit with her after the birthday party for a little bit. She loves seeing the kids so I thought we could go spend the afternoon with her while Eli sleeps.
Sunday is the day I am most excited about. I haven't spent much time with just Jordan since Preston has been born. There is a water park about 2 hours from our house we go to every year. Eli, Jordan, and I are going to the waterpark all day sunday and Preston is staying with my mom. I feel so guilty for leaving preston at home but he can be spoiled by grandma. There just isn't anything he can enjoy at the waterpark and with the heat I was afraid he would be cranky. I am excited to spend some time with Jordan.
Morning, all. This weekend will be exciting, dedicated entirely to cleaning out our kitchen cabinets and relining them with contact paper. Good times. We'll also be doing a deep clean of the apartment, so there's that. Oh well, it needs to get done.
Other than that, just the regular: gyms, errands, relaxing as much as possible.

Last night was a blast! I went to Lodo's for happy hour with a few co-workers for Young Professionals networking, then we went shopping at Toys R Us and Goodwill for some stuff for our golf tournaments.
We are doing a Caddy Shack theme for our golf tournament so we picked up a Whack- A- mole (whack- a- gopher) game at Toys R Us and have been....ummmm testing it out all morning! I don't think today will be a very productive day at work with the bosses on vacation and a Whack - a - mole game in our possession.
No big plans for the weekend, so maybe I'll get caught up on some sleep and house work.

Yay for Friday! I'll be out of the office again and can't wait for the day to be over. After work I'm taking Olivia to the park to meet some of DH's friends and watch his softball game.
Tomorrow we're celebrating my dad's birthday with a big party at my parent's house. We hired a traditional Mexican drum band and a bunch of my family is coming from out of town. I'm so excited to see everyone, have them meet Olivia and just have a great time. One of my cousins and her DH are staying with us, which means I have to get as much cleaning as I can tonight and tomorrow before we leave for the party.
Sunday is my dad's actual birthday so we're having a barbecue and having seafood with the family that's here from out of town. Again, I'm so excited and can't wait. I haven't been this pumped about a family event in a long time.

It's pouring rain here again, big surprise there. I'm expecting my basement to start flooding soon with all the rain we've had in the last 3 weeks. We've gone to total destruction from forest fires to flooding all over the province. There are massive mosquitoes everywhere and now ticks carrying lyme disease. I'm pretty sure things couldn't get any worse.
Today is a day of sitting around the house and getting some more cleaning done. Walls are getting washed today.
