Speaking of video monitors...
The video monitor we got for $60 is being offered again today as a one day deal. It's obviously not the top of the line, but it works wonderful and it's half the price of other video monitors.

Re: Speaking of video monitors...
i'm really debating whether i should get this. i never had a video monitor with Bridget but there were times it would have been nice to have one. i just didn't want to spend too much$$. but for $60 should i just do it??
That was our thought. We just got it a few months ago. Once she started moving around and getting up it would be nice to see what she is doing. Now I love it, you can see if she actually went to sleep or not. We were also happy to not spend more.
I still use our old monitor for sound. This one doesn't have quite as good sound quality as our digital monitor.
I am also debating. We are in a 2BR apt that is approximately 10 square feet (actually its a pretty decent size) but our bedroom is right next to baby's room. We hopefully plan to be in a house this time next year and it would be super convenient. To pull the trigger or not to pull the trigger...?
If someone hadn't already bought our regular monitor off of our registry, I'd have already bought this. (yes, I registry stalk)
ok i just bit the bullet and got it. for $65 it's worth a shot. thanks for the tip, lando!!
and i like the way you think, lachute!
now hopefully by purchasing this it will some way miraculously induce labor and this kid will come out soon. b/c i'm so over this whole pregnancy and 100 + temp thing.
I obviously don't love my kid enough.
pssh i am such a wonder mom i not only know milo's cries but i can hear luciana's from here. she says more avocado, now.
Kids can climb out of cribs and take their diapers off? I'm not listening! I'm not listening!
I do agree though, I love just watching her sleep. And be cute. Wouldn't see that if I was just listening to her trying to decipher her cries.
we had a video monitor in the very beginning, but we took it down in May-it was super helpful but i found myself looking at throughout the night any time Max made a peep.
I imagine we'll put it up again when he can get out of his crib.
This is Bella's new trick. She takes off all her clothes and pamper and flings it everywhere!! Talk about a mess. Luckily she is not like Chase Patrick and hasn't attempted to break out of her crib...yet!
I do need it to know when she is fussing or when her fat thighs get stuck in the crib.
Yes, thats me. Ive since moved out of the area but I still check this board bc my local board is SLOW. Im glad I can bring laughter to child rearing topics. Its hard to find it funny when youre in the middle of it sometimes!
