We had decided on Brooke for our little girl. Last night Greg mentioned and I had thought of this at one point what about Brooklynn. He likes Brooke and is fine but just Brooke seems to blunt no really shorting ect. So I come to you all and ask
Brooke or Brooklynn. MN Kathleen
(Feel free to be honest about Brooklynn if you don't like it. It will NOT hurt my feelings if you tell me it sucks. It will help us decide. With Brooke I don't care if you like it or not
)
Re: Help me decide
I'm with everyone else. I love just Brooke. Plus I have a thing about same syllables/names ending the same...both "n". I think Brooke Kathleen is beautiful.
Jeremy wants son (if we have one) to have his initials and his middle name "Alan" which would be fine except I'm in love with the name Jason and I don't like how it sounds together. Both same/harsh endings and all. But I'm weird like that.
I like both Brooke and Brooklyn (although I feel that Brooklyn is one of the "trendy" names). Brooklyn Kathleen is a very long combination, but I kind of like it better than Brooke Kathleen.
hmm....I am on the fence.
I agree. But I also agree that Brooke is a little more "classic" than Brooklynn. I'm on the fence too.........
I think Brooke is a beautiful name. Brooklynn sounds pretty as well, but Brooke seems more classic and beautiful.
My vote: Brooke
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
Thanks for all the input ladies! I actually totally agree with everything you all said. So we will probably just stick with Brooke. I also agree Brooke seems more classic. I don't know if I can picture a middle Brookelynn and Brookelynn Kathleen with our LN which is long seems like a mouth full. Kathleen is a 100% it was my moms name so it is in honor of her.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
This is kind of what i was thinking.Its cute for a baby through maybe college. This is what I HATE about cute trendy type names really cute for baby through teenager/college age but once you hit adulthood not so cute anymore.
Lol, that's so true! Also, being a lawyer, I have to review court orders all the time, and lately I keep fixating on the names of the judges, and whether it sounds weird, like Judge Tiffany So-and-So. Ick!
