My REA leaving her kids in the car while she shows me a house!
WTF?!?!
Um, did you call the cops on her? Because that is totally illegal.
I would also be finding myself a new REA and informing both her and her sales manager exactly why I was. That is irresponsible and dangerous and I would not want that fool representing me in any sort of fiduciary capacity, considering she is too stupid to look out for the safety of her children.
ugh! I actually really like the girl as an REA, just not as a mother. =/
I actually went to high school with her husband (not that that matters), but I wonder if he would condone this? Anyway, of course I said something...but, I was nice about it. Her kids are 6 and 3, so we pull up to the house and she says to the older one "Do you want to wait in the car or come in?" My response was
So, the girl says "I want to wait in the car.". She proceeds to leave the car running with the air on, but her type of car lets her remove the key (which I didn't realize until we got back to the car...and not that that matters either). So, we finish looking at the house and I see her 3 yo in the front seat and I say "You are very trusting.". Her response was "oh it's no big deal, I have the key and he can't put it into gear or turn it on.". I just thought to myself "Whatever lady, they're your kids.". What was I to do? How does she know someone wouldn't have saw this and called the cops or knocked on the window and one of the kids unlock the door and get kidnapped...anything could have happened! Are people really this trusting?!?! I wouldn't leave my LO in the car by herself for not even a second!!
LMAO! Her hair is amazing. This whole scandal is nuts. I was listening to the Murdochs? live testimony the other day on npr. I'm still not sure what to think about it.
So, a friend and I were going to buy a fruit and veggie share at the local CSA, but we never got ourselves together and they filled up before the deadline. But we got lucky, or so we thought. An acquaintance bought a full share with her parents and then the parents wanted out and were willing to sell their half, and at a discount!
Well, now the trouble started. The parents forgot to check off that they wanted fruit, so instead of two boxes of fruit each week, only one was going to come in. But our Half Share Partner said she would split with us, because when we purchased she told us we were getting a fruit.
Every week now has been something new and annoying. Two weeks ago she picked up and the next morning dropped off two heads of lettuce for us. She kept everything else.
Last week she told us she couldn't use the veggies, told us we should take the full thing. But in the same email she also ccs her DH and tells him to meet us and take out anything that he likes for them. Um, biatch, don't send your husband to cherry pick the good stuff after you tell us to take the whole thing.
This week, her email is roughly: "I am going to pick up and take what I want and then leave the rest for you two." Say what now? I get your vegetable offal? I don't think so! We need to split this evenly, if you end up with veggies you don't like, that is tough. You can't have all the good ones. How much kale can I freaking eat while you take all the carrots? She also told us she is keeping the fruit.
So, my friends sends an email saying that it is becoming a problem and thinks that everything should be cut in half, if possible or divided as evenly as possible. This DB doesn't want to do that. She actually told us that since she paid more for her half then we did, she is entitled to more and to the better stuff. And she said that she never offered the fruit to us.
WTF?????
So, I got pissed. And I sent an email saying that she was being ridiculous. Half is half. If she didn't want to give us a full half for our reduced price, she should have taken that up with her parents, they got the money, not her. And I found the original email where she offers the fruit. I told her to keep the money and to make sure that my partner gets her full half share of veggies and fruits, but I was out and done dealing with her crazy. I went off about how she was being ridiculous and unfair and a spoiled brat. I quoted her and compared email texts showing her where she has gone back on her word and where and how she has been a complete biznatch.
So, she sends an email to my veggie partner asking if I am mad at her.
WTFFFFFFFF???? You clueless lunatic!!!
Pokey, that would piss me off to no end. WTF indeed.
P.S. Hit me up next year RE the CSA split. We might be interested. I've thought about it but I know that we couldn't do a whole share.
