My office is so humid right now

The paper is curling and my desk feels wet.  We got an email from facilities this morning that the system was already overloaded.  I just hope we don't lose power at my house tonight.

Re: My office is so humid right now

  • Yuck!  Can you leave early?
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • If I leave early I am just going home to my humid house!  Haha.  I was looking forward to enjoying a day of a/c in here.  Oh well.  Like I've said before, I'd rather be hot than cold, so I will be fine.  I just won't try to use the printer (it jams on days like today).
  • That is awful. I don't mind dry heat, just the humidity!

  • Leave early and go to the mall.  That's what my mom used to do with us kids when we were little and had no A/C Smile

  • That's the worst. I recommend ice cream, heh.

The A/C in my office isn't working right either, but when I leave the door open, it's not so bad. (The air in the outer office area is fine, it's just my personal one.) I went to a meeting for an hour or so, though, and it was just a wall of humidity when I came back. Bleh.

  • I turned the dehumidifier on this morning (no idea why it was left off in this weather) and it seems to be helping.  Either that or I got used to it.

Last night we went to the mall after work to get out of the heat.  I wanted to go to Macy's to buy some sheets that were on sale for $60.  $160 later we were out of there... so probably no mall browsing tonight Angel

Ice cream sounds like an excellent solution.  My freezer at home is stocked with popsicles, freeze pops, etc.  I have at least one every day when I get home.  My favorite are the Minute Maid raspberry lemonade ones.  Sooo good.
