Hello Strangers!

Can someone recommend a kid-friendly lunch place, in the Art Museum area?  Walking in the general area is ok.  TIA!

Hope everyone is doing well.  Hugs to all the babies!!Smile

Re: Hello Strangers!

  • No recs but I love your siggy pic.  That is an awesome picture.  Daddyknot looks right at home in Ireland.
  • OMG crap, I suck!!!

    Ugh I'm so sorry.

At any rate you guys look great!  Love the Aran wool look on DH.

Stella Pizzeria has some tables and is at Fairmount and 25th.  Little Pete's Diner is actually really good foodwise (straight up old school diner menu) and is kid-friendly, that's in back of the Philadelphian apartment building also accessible from Fairmount.  There is a great new sandwich place across from the CVS on Fairmount called RyBread but their indoor seating is limited (if you're going on a day like today you don't want a picnic or their back deck).  Fairmount in general is pretty kid-friendly these days.  Illuminaire is a more upscale pizza place that I'm sure would be ok too.

  • Where we went?  Rembrandt's?  Yes, also fine.

Urban Saloon (directly across from ESP) is probably also fine during the day for kids.

Well I'm glad he enjoyed his golf anyway.

No, not where we went...the Fire Station (?) Is that Urban Saloon?

  • That is Jack's Firehouse.  It's probably the least kid friendly of the bunch?  But I'm sure it's still kid ready.  I know I saw a highchair in there during the Bastille Day stuff last weekend.
