We just had a division meeting (~70 people) and at least 4 women were wearing white pants/capris.
This is a trend (is it a trend?) I don't understand. White is NOT flattering.

Re: Do you wear white pants?
1. I am FAR too large to wear white pants.
2. If I was NOT far too large then I would LOVE me some white pants.
3. WTF...you can wear capris?
1. I am FAR to curvy, not in a good way, to wear white pants.
2. Agree, they look cute on the right body. I would suspect that kms' dept doesn't have that many people that fit in this category.
3. YES! But I rarely do. I only have a couple pairs that would be work acceptable, and according to our fashionista, denim capris aren't on that list.
Edit: TOO curvy. Ack, one of my pet peeves!
Yes. You'd honestly be appalled at some of the crap people wear around here. Sleeveless knit shirts, knit capris (think thin sweat pants), crocs, athletic sandals (Nike flip flops), too short skirts. It's pretty ridiculous, IMO.
I'm not a huge capri fan in general but I will wear them on casual Fridays....my khaki/cargo maternity ones

One lady wearing them is super skinny but her's were nearly see-through! Bad news! The others are either too old (50's) or too overweight to wear them. We have probably 8 people that I would think "ok, you can pull that off."

This brings up another good point. Proper underwear is a must.
Agree... I am too curvy, but my cousin wore some when I was in Chicago and they were cute!
I don't wear white pants (because I have toddler twins), but I do wear white jean shorts and LOVE them. Glamorous Newlywed made some great points about just going for it.
I pink puffy-paint heart shorts. This is a touchy clothing issue for a lot of women, I know, as shorts aren't always perceived as being the most flattering things on earth. It can be tough to find the right pair, but if you live in a warm climate, the hunt is worth it to find some shorts that you love!
My personal thoughts on shorts are:
I got mine for $30 at Express, and they look equally appropriate with one of my "scruffy cute" casual outfits with minimal make-up as it does with a nicer top and wedges. You know, assuming I washed them after the sticky fingers and sat on strawberry from the previous wear.
white pants? NO
White shorts? Yes, in fact i'm wearing them right now
Wearing a pair of white bermuda shorts right now. I think they look good, especially if you are tan.
I also have several pairs of white pants (jeans, trousers, dressy trousers) that I think look great with heels.
I think it gives an outfit a very clean look. But the correct panties ARE a must. One would think white panties, but actually nude colored panties are a must
I have some natural colored linen pants and I totally agree. So summery and nice. They're so comfy. I love them!
