Re: FFFC anyone?
I did abs yesterday. My core is so freaking sore today that I spent most of the morning curled up in the fetal position with my laptop next to me. It's making me seriously question if I really want a flat stomach.
One of the moles I had removed was on it's way to being skin cancer. I have no intention of telling my Mom because I don't want to hear her question my health-care choices for the next billion years.

We have a lot to do with our house in the next 3 weeks, just little things mostly, but still, stuff. I just spent Anders afteroon nap on eBay instead oftping the bathroom off for painting like I wa planning. At least I was listing stuff on eBay, right?
I pretended I was asleep this morning so S would feed Anders breakfast (at 6 am mind you) before he went to work and I would relax for 15 minutes. He totally called me out on it.
I forgot to put on deodorant today. This is flameworthy because it's the 3rd day in a row I have forgotten, and also because it's a common enough occurance in my life that I have deodorant sticks in my car and diaper bag. Sadly, today I grabbed another bag and the one I my car melted.
ditto!
So Krissy no you aren't dumb because I don't know either lol

Friday Flame Free Confession
Oh yeah, I have another one...
I visit the Dec 11 baby board and there are all these moms saying their doctor has agreed to induce if they haven't had their kid before 12/20 so they can bill it on their 2011 insurance. Some of these moms aren't due until 12/28-12/31 and I want to scream. I'm due 12/29 and maybe I'm just a hippie water-birth planning crazy, but I see no need to induce when your kid isn't ready to come out for insurance purposes. I'm all for medically necessary inductions, but I am also all for letting your kid tell you when it's time. Dude, at least wait until your Due date. And STOP schedlign inductions when you're only 18 weeks! I cannot believe doctors will do that simply because of cost.
A guy at work became a grandpa again this past week. His daughter's doc induced her 1.5 weeks ealy because she was going to be on vacation. My co-worker didn't approve of it, but he didn't feel like he could say anything to his daughter. I believe that babies will come when they are ready. If there are complications and a medical reason to induce that is a different story.
Thank you!
I feel like everyone over on the Dec. board must be in head-desk mode when I respond to those posts. Or at least roll their eyes at the crazy lady.
It must be their first kid. Don't they realize the complications they can have from being induced to soon and the high c-section risk?
With Ryan being gone for the last 2 weeks, I started using left over paper plates so I didn't have to do dishes.
yeah. LAZY.
ITA with you on this, but because I'm not a mom, if I say anything my friends give me the whole "when you're a mom you'll understand". No... no I don't think I'll ever understand inducing labor early and putting your child at risk for your convenience. And yes, the insurance thing is a convenience issue.

I love my new job, and I know I am going to be 10000x happier there than at my old job!
one of my FFFC (because I forgot to come post mine last night) is that I am going to be one of those women pushing my doctor to induce me next time right from day one.... but that is mostly because my doctors don't like to listen to me, and I want it in their minds and in my file right from day 1 that I don't want a repeat of Wyatt's birth.
ETA: I could have lost Wyatt at any point right from 30 weeks on due to his cord knot (I also have a friend who lost her son at 38 weeks to a cord knot), plus his placenta was WAY too old and he was 9'9 and got ridiculously stuck... so yeah, while I do believe that MOST babies come when they are ready, I am a big believer in induction too. But not for convenience sake
Here is another one: Our fish tank was spotless a couple weeks ago, and then our sucker fish died of starvation (I think anyways) because the guy who sold it to us told us that it would eat the goldfish food that they left behind (he was lying). A couple days later the filter died, so after a week of trying to get it to work I finally went out and bought a new sucker fish and filter, and he died after only 2 days, even though he had more than enough to eat... so now for fear that the alga has infected the water, my fish are living in an ice cream bucket. I am the most horrible 'pet parent' I know...
