Must Get Knitting...
I have 3 weeks and 1 (maybe 2) days to finish the blanket I'm working on for my nephew (the shower is Aug 13 but I have to fly there). I'm a little over 1/2 way done and have been working on it every night.
It's just detailed and repetitive and isn't holding my attention as well as I'd hoped.
*sigh* Hopefully my motivation will show up tonight and this weekend...

You've got plenty of time to get it done! After those stockings, I believe you can get through any project
Just don't be like me that one time, finishing a crochet baby blanket in the back seat of the car while on the way to the shower. And then skipping out on watching the rest of the presents being opened so that I could do the final touches and wrap it

Yes. My brother/SIL live in San Fran. We went out at the end of June for family vacation, and my mom and I are heading back for the shower in a few weeks
Awesome. I lived in the Bay Area for six years and try to go back often to visit friends. It's my second home

Maybe I will get the camera out tonight. I'm seriously the WORST about taking pictures of my projects (ask anyone...) I finished a knit skirt like 6 weeks ago and even wore it in San Fran in June and haven't taken a picture of it yet

The current baby blanket that I'm working is for a kid who already 6 mo old...oops!
I'm a little last minute - I once finished a crochet afghan for a wedding gift during the gap between the wedding and the reception - not to mention the 10 hour drive there.
