DD: What anchor/dept stores offer comp. fashion consulting/stylists (national/RDU)?
Dear Nesties.
THANKS! I completely forgot about Dillards. I found a few options for her there. The Macy's near her don't have the personal stylists, but there were a few great dresses there as well. I am hoping she doesn't cheap out* on this whole thing, and finds something she loves and makes her feel good about herself.
shopbop

*she found something at Cato, but it doesn't sound amazing.

ditto nordstrom and good luck to your mama!
what about Lord and Taylor ? I have always thought Macys has helpful sales people ( I guess it depends on who you get )
Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Lord and Taylor all offer personal shopping services.
Is your mom in the midwest? My sister is plus sized and has a lot of trouble shopping- but better at home (in St. Louis) than anywhere else. She buys a lot of stuff at Lane Bryant and also J C Penny and Dillards. So, even though they don't have personal shopping, they usually have better selection.
I'd advise at least having her check Lane Bryant because they have a lot of separates for work wear, and they're things that she'll be able to wear later, or buy more of to expand her wardrobe.
Stand up for something you believe in.
