Newbie-ish & Flowers

Hi! I'm new to the craft board.  My name is Victoria...and I'm addicted to crafts. :)  I've done jewelry-making, sewing, knitting, very simple crocheting, scrapbooking, card/invitation-making, etc.  I blame my mom, lol.

Anyways, I'm hoping some of you gals can help me out.  I'm looking for flower patterns - either for knitting or with fabric.  I am still fairly clueless when it comes to crocheting (I can make a - really long - chain, lol...)

I found a knitted flower pattern online, but it's kinda skimpy.  I'd like to find one that's not terribly difficult (as my knitting is just a step or two above a beginner) but makes a flower that says "oomph."

Help?

Re: Newbie-ish & Flowers

  • Are you on Ravelry?  You can find just about any knitting or crochet pattern in its database.  You can search by pattern type, yarn type, yardage, anything--and browse through photos of other people's projects.

I don't have a particular flower pattern to recommend, but give Ravelry a try.  It'll seriously change the way you knit.
