I'm bored. I decided I'm going to take the LSATs in February, rather than the GREs so I've been studying and don't want to anymore. Anyone else hiding from the heat online?
ETA: And Amy Winehouse is dead, btw.
Shot first, questions later.
Re: Who's here?
I'm here! I keep wanting to take the LSAT again but with C being unsure about re-enlisting I'm not entirely sure what to do. Blah.
I'm not hiding from the heat, it didn't get above 60 here. I intend on welcoming the sun and heat of South Carolina with open arms. And then reveling in the air conditioning. And Chick Fil A lemonade.
I'm so done with this place!
Otherwise, we're watching Season 1 of Parenthood and enjoying a quiet Saturday night at home. And I *might* be eating cinnamon cream cheese frosting on graham crackers. Maybe.
The Dogs and Us
Well, what happened was i made carrot cake cupcakes for C's shop yesterday and made cream cheese frosting. I had half the batter baking, and another metal bowl of frosting. I meant to add more cinnamon to the leftover batter for the next cupcakes and added it to the frosting instead. Bam, cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
Turned out to be a beautiful mistake!

I'm here and yea, got on because I noticed in my FB feed that Amy WInehouse died. It's crazy but she's another person added to the 27 club. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club
I'm glad to hear someone else knows about the 27 Club. T looked at me like I had 3 heads when I mentioned it.
I'm here (obviously). We got in a little while ago from visiting my MIL and her husband with the baby and then going grocery shopping. We got a ton of fresh produce and I'm going to try a bunch of new recipes this week.

Yea, I heard about it a few years ago.
Our produce at our local Wal-Mart is really crappy. It's like they are buying it as ripe as they can so it's cheaper on their pockets. Then, it only lasts maybe 2 or 3 days if you are lucky.
I can't wait until our HEB gets finished and they open up!
You're obviously crazy. I am an Ohioan transplanted to Georgia for the time being and can't shake the homesickness (it's been almost a year already). What part of Ohio? I'm from Cincinnati. I can't wait to get back there, and luckily I'm headed that way in a couple of weeks while H does a training exercise. Georgia just isn't my thing.
I'm home after spending the afternoon at the ILs. I was over there swimming in their nice pool and my creepy BIL was staring at my rack the entire time. Gross. Now it's torrentially raining and I'm feeling glad I left when I did. I hate driving in the rain.
Margot you slut! You never answered my question. How far from Atlanta are you?

About an hour and half east. I've been there a few times and haven't been that impressed. I'm a negative nancy when it comes to Georgia I think. The south is an entirely different animal from the north I grew up in.
I should be studying, or doing anything at all productive. Instead I'm drinking beer and trolling the internets, so you aren't alone.
Well, if I don't end up flying overseas to visit H I'm contemplating driving to Atlanta to go to Dragoncon in September. Need more nerdfests!

Never heard of it but it sounds interesting. Maybe we should plan a meet up...although babysitters are scarce around these parts.
I'd totally hang out with your spawn.

I'm here for a bit before I go upstairs and go to bed. We just got home about 40 minutes ago from a beautiful wedding near Half Moon Bay. It was amazing. It was for one of my dear dear friend who I have been friends with since kindergarten, her twin was the MOH and it was just precious.
Tomorrow I'm going grocery shopping and sleeping. I might do some yard work depending on what E wants to do.
I went to Dayton. Though there was a day trip to Jungle Jim's. I was born in Georgia and lived in Athens for the past six years, so It's all I've known. I know I'll be itching to get away again soon. Hopefully I'll be moving out of the state in a couple of years.

Jungle Jim's is awesome. I'm going to try to make a point of going this time, I haven't been there in a couple of years.
I like Atlanta they have a nice aquarium. There is also world of coke if you are into that. I am actually going to be there in a month or so to visit a cousin. I have 3 cousins who live there with their families and of course their parents also live outside Atlanta (All my cousins are older and mostly out of their parents house).

I did go to the aquarium, it was pretty awesome. I wanted to tour the coke plant but we didn't have time. I'm sure before we get out of this state I'll have the opportunity again.
The Dogs and Us
It was awesome. I picked up some the from Ireland. I can't wait to drink it.
