Do you leave the AC on when you go on vacation?
Sort of MM... I wasn't sure where to put this. Sorry if it's a dumb question....
DH and I are going out of town all of next week. It's looking like it's going to be in the 90s all week. I'm thinking we should just turn off the AC all week to save on the bill. DH thinks we should leave (turned up to 80 or so) because he's worried about stuff overheating. Is this a valid concern? I know in the winter we want to leave the heat on so the pipes don't freeze. Should we be worried about anything overheating in the summer?
Re: Do you leave the AC on when you go on vacation?
We leave ours turned on around 80 also. I don't know why, it's DH's idea.
Actually I think he just doesn't want it to be too hot when we get back. It's regularly in the 100's around these parts.

When we're home we just leave it at a comfortable 80 to conserve energy and save money. We're cheap.
